When Mike takes the fall for the fraud they’ve both been committing, Harvey is made to suffer in silence from the sidelines while Mike is carted off to prison.  Making matters worse, not only does Mike have to learn how to cope with prison from the normal threats, but an old enemy of Harvey’s gets involved, making things that much more dangerous.  Mike isn’t dealing all that well to begin with but it only gets worse once Harvey shows up four weeks in on a Friday, dressed in prison blue and carrying a lunch tray.

my part for @marveybang 2024! i fell in love with @sal-si-puedes's concept right from the start, so im sooo excited for others to read it. here's the summary, and a little scene from it under the cut.

Exceptional Dancers

Mike is the new principal dancer at the NYC Ballet, the rising star in the tough, even brutal yet glittering, glamorous world of classical dance. Harvey is, well, Harvey - lawyer extraordinaire, the best closer this city has ever seen etc. Harvey gets dragged to the annual NYCB Gala by Louis because, years ago, Louis has already talked Harvey into becoming a sponsor for the noble cause of ballet. Until the night this story starts, Harvey has seen his regular donations as a clever and easy tax write-off and has never been an aficionado in any way, much to Louis’ chagrin. As soon as Mike enters the stage, though, that changes, and as soon as Mike steps into the Gala’s venue after the show as the celebrated guest of honor of the evening, everything else changes, too. Harvey takes Mike home with him for the night, and they’re inseparable from that moment on – or they would be if their lifestyles weren’t so different and if those two idiots in love weren’t so incredibly stubborn (and sometimes in denial as well).

Marvey Bang 2024

In 2023 Suits and Marvey returned - in 2024 Marvey returns with a BANG!!

We invite all Marvey writers and Marvey artists to take part in the Marvey Bang 2024!!

A Bang is a collaboration between fanfic writers and fan artists, and it works like this:

Writers and artists sign up. Closed!

Each writer provides summaries for the fic they want to write for the Bang. The minimum word-count for Marvey Bang 2024 is 15k, and there is no limit (= your fic can be as long as you want it to be). Once the Bang officially starts, please do not share more information about your work to the public beyond what is mentioned in the summary until your posting date.

The summaries are posted anonymously (we'll use google docs for that as well), and the artists have time to browse and think about which stories they'd like to play with.

The artists claim their top three choices.

The mods match writers and artists and puts them into contact.

Writers and artists work on their joint contribution.

Regular check-ins (see below) help make sure that everything's going according to plan. Extended deadline!

Posting starts September 6th and will be spread out over a couple of days, depending on how many participants we'll have. (Posting schedule will be communicated as soon as the matches have been made, so you'll know when your posting date is right from the beginning.

Contributions must be posted in one go. Fics can be chaptered, of course, and art can be spread over different chapters but on your posting date the entire thing has to be posted. BANG!
