Rhaegar Targaryen's small council

Lets say Rhaegar killed Robert and won the Rebellion with the help of Tywin sacking the rebel forces. After Aerys execution by The Mountain's hands via Tywin's orders. This is the Small Council I can vision. Rhaegar's intention is to unite the realm

Queen of the realm:I could imagine Rhaegar making the Queen a more important role, trying to make the role more of an equal to the King, also giving Elia and Lyanna(if he can make the two wives thing stick) as much power as Visenya and Rhaenys had.

Hand Of The King:I could see Rhaegar bringing in Jon Connington. I wouldn't pick Tywin. He was known to run the show while Aerys was in charge, so picking him would send the signal that Rhaegar wants to keep Tywin as de facto King. I'd go with unquestioned loyalty and appoint JonCon.

Master of Coin: Here we can take Tywin, or if he doesn't want to, Kevan. Appeasing the Lannisters in some way is important, and they should be skilled with money. However if the Lannisters feel slighted and won't come around, I could see Mace Tyrell as Master of Coin.

Master Of Whispers:Varys served Aerys well, but someone as smart as Rhaegar knows he cannot be trusted. I believe Doran Martell would be the best choice or Oberyn if Doran can't make the move. Oberyn is well connected to sellswords and Essos, so I believe he can make the role work.

Master of Laws: Jon Arryn. He is capable, and widely respected for his honour. Having him advise on legal matters and act as royal envoy would grant respect to the King. If not Arryn, I could see Ned Stark to appease Lyanna and integrate the North.

Master Of Ships:Probably Lucerys Velaryon. But maybe Rhaegar wants a more united realm so he appoints a Greyjoy to integrate the ironborn, perhaps Victarion Greyjoy. Another candidate would be Paxter Redwyne.

Grand Maester: Pycelle or Marwyn

Lord Commander of the Kingsguard: Gerold Hightower or Arthur Dayne

Sometimes i come up with comedy gold. See I too am a degenerate that ships Falric and Marwyn together, its just that I do the polar opposite of having Falric (whos younger in my fic) be the happy idiot while Marwyn (being older) is the gothic brooding horror.

Falric posing sexually thinking the person entering his room is Marwyn but its Arthas whos coming in for the weekly report he forgot to give and just sees, well: That whole, pose and turn around with a rose in your mouth kinda shit Arthas: "Mmmmm, what a terrible day to have eyes." Falric: -utter devestation as he spins around to see Arthas- "Oh god..." Arthas: "Nope, he's defintely not here right now....turned away from this wretchedness....ANYWAY, I need those reports for the week." Falric: -hurrying to get them, but when handing them over he sheepishly asks- "W-was it that bad?"

Arthas: "Mmmmm, not something I'd do to woe Scillea into bed."

Falric: "...Can I ask what you do?"

Arthas: "...Okay so first you're gonna need to- " -in depth explanation on how to properly woe someone-

-much much later that night-

Marwyn: -comes in to his favorite meal, the place is cleaned up and there's a mug of beer and his favorite book on the bed-

Falric: "Welcome home!"

Marwyn: "Hmmmmmmmm..... Arthas, I thank you for trying to teach him, but I prefer my men pathetic."

Arthas: -in the undead mental link- ".....Okay you freaks, have fun."

For one part I'm glad Arianne, Victarion, Darkstar, Marwyn, Jon Connington and fAegon were never adapted into GoT... They would have ruined them too... (I love these characters)

I even had my perfect fancast of Arianne, but at least Dumb and Dumber never got their dirty, dirty hands on her.

I have Marwyn equipped with Sword of the Paruns. When she taps to add mana, does it see she's tapped so I get the two extra mana?

Yes.

Marwyn’s mana ability looks at her power at the moment the ability resolves. The ability resolves once its cost is paid, and since Marwyn is tapped at that time, Sword of the Paruns is buffing her power at that time.

Hi! Who are the famous inventors and scientists in the asoiaf universe? For the life of me I can't remember any. Thanks!

I….can’t remember either. TBH, this is the type of thing I’d immediately forget though. In text, Marwyn stands out to me quite a bit even though his pursuits seem to be in the magical/dragon arena than in strict science as we understand it. 

There’s also Septon Barth who features a few times in the series itself and quite often in the world book. He wrote a book on fire worms and dragons and obliquely hinted on how to kill a dragon (a point which I’d bet money will be relevant later in the series). He also figured out how ravens were once used by the children. If a statement comes up from him in the text, anywhere, we as readers should take it as a truth.

Really, specific names seemed to be more connected to magic than science. In text, it tends to be regions or cities that are known for their inventions. Think Myr and their lacemaking and glasscrafting, for example. Or, the Iron Born which have their distinctive long ships. It’s a design exclusive to them. Braavos has their snails which the city used to become famous for with its purple dye. Tyrosh is known for its great skill with armorsmithing.
