Okay so I officially absolutely adore Mary Watson. Additionally, I think she, John and Sherlock should be in a polycule. I mean: look at them!! They all adore each other!! Marriage á Trois by Sorrel is one of those fics you go to re-read and re-read again and again. If you’re a fan of any sort Sherlock fandom, I highly recommened you check this story out. Based on the 2009 RDJ!Sherlock, this story lovingly crafts the various characters and relationships, including one of the best Mary Morstans I’ve ever seen, until the OT3 seems inevitable, while still keeping its historical/movie setting in mind.
It’s 30k words of good character interactions and developement, you really need to check it out.
