EVERYONE think about M coping with MC's absence by haunting their room NOW
Guys guys GUYS WAKE UP PLEASE I HAVE *screams*
Ok so I asked Sera for a personal N/M LT scenario omg omg I need to scream with everyone LOOK :
“Another successful mission!” Farah announces, falling into the armchair as the group make their way into the living room of the Warehouse. “All thanks to Liz.”
Elizabeth shakes her head with a smile. “I wasn’t doing that mission alone.”
“You might well have been,” Mason scoffs, throwing an arm around Elizabeth’s shoulders and dragging them both down to sit on the sofa together. She lays an arm across his lap as pride shimmers in her eyes.
Nate manages to keep a smile pressed onto his lips as he watches the easy intimate gesture between them…even as it crushes his chest.
A hand lays gently on his shoulder, and he glances around to look at Adam. The team leader pinches his brows together in a silent expression of ‘Are you alright?’
Nate nods, forcing the smile a little higher.
Adam thins his lips but eventually lets it go.
Farah hunches forward with a bright laugh, bringing Nate’s focus back to the room.
“You’ll be taking over Adam’s job soon,” she jokes.
Elizabeth’s beautiful brown eyes flicker wider before she chokes on a tense chuckle. “That’s not—”
Farah throws her hands up. “Oh! Or maybe you’ll get to be a handler of another team?”
“No.”
The word expels from both Mason and Nate at the same time and with the same amount of unexpected force.
Nate’s breath stutters as Elizabeth looks to him with a deep frown, almost seeming to have expected it from Mason but not him.
He holds her gaze as it searches his. Part of him wishes she didn’t see so easily into him—that she couldn’t read him better than anyone he’s ever met before—but the sensation of being laid bare to someone is also freeing in a way he never knew.
Perhaps that’s why he found himself falling for her before he could catch himself.
Swallowing down his emotions, he pulls his mask back in place, and Elizabeth’s face scrunches into further confusion before glancing away.
Mason shifts even closer to Elizabeth, brushing her hair back over her shoulder and subtly tracing his fingertips down her neck.
She shivers happily.
Nate looks away.
“It was just a suggestion,” Farah huffs, flopping back and folding her arms.
“You’re happy here, aren’t you, Lilibet?” Nate asks.
He looks for a reaction at the nickname only he uses for her. He’s certain he sees her pulse tick a little faster…but perhaps that’s just wishful thinking.
She nods with a smile. “Very happy.”
“Good,” Mason says. “Because you know we couldn’t do without you now.”
“You managed without me before you met me,” she replies, leaning into Mason and spreading a hand on his chest.
Envy spikes like cold daggers through Nate, and he shoves his hands into his pockets, clenching them tightly. It’s an emotion he resents. He is happy for Mason and Elizabeth. They make each other happy.
So why isn’t he happy about them being happy?
Ugh…He groans at himself inwardly and strides across the room.
“I should get started on the paperwork,” he mutters as an excuse for his hasty exit.
“I can start that later—” But Adam’s offer fades into nothingness as he marches out of the room.
Nate had hoped that not being in the couple’s presence would help lift the weight that has his heart beating so achingly slow. But instead, without Elizabeth near, it only feels more like a ragged wound.
But then it suddenly soothes.
And soon he realises why.
“Nate?”
He spins around at the sound of Elizabeth’s gentle call. His name on her lips does things to Nate that he knows it shouldn’t. But he can’t stop it.
She closes the gap between them. “Are you ok?”
He sucks in a breath, his reply stuck on the inhale.
I’m not ok.
I’m only ok when I’m with you.
I need you.
I’ve fallen for you.
Tell me you’ve fallen for me. Even just a little—
“I’m fine,” he replies, the words tight as he forces them out. He takes a step back and pushes his fingers through his hair. “I’m fine,” he repeats. It doesn’t make it anymore true.
Then he turns and walks away, before all the confessions that want to spill forth fall from his lips and ruin everything.

Here is an unedited and grammatically incorrect snippet from the historical romance LT au, with a special focus on our darling Farah:
No, what made this world a contender for Farah’s excitement and curiosity, what made it perplexing and fascinating, were the humans. They possessed immense spirits that were only hindered by their physical limitations and needs. They were not as strong nor as energetic; they grew weary often, needed to rest a rather frightful amount to accomplish their day, only to go back to sleep soon after. They were always in a rush, always running about, frantic and yelling, and that delighted Farah. These beings, unlike the ones back home, seemed to always be short on time and so lived life with a sense of urgency, and seemed always to have a place to be. When she had landed off the far side of this town, two of their kind had come to aid her, ready and practiced as if it were an almost common occurrence, making sure no one save them saw her. The older woman of the two seemed to carry an air of importance, a stern expression on her face that melted, for the smallest moment, in sympathy before schooling back to one of neutrality. The younger, who looked an awful lot like the older, stoic one but possessed kinder, curious eyes, had offered Farah her hand and an understanding smile, a smile that had lightened Farah’s sorrowful heart, despite the heavy burden it carried. Farah remembers how her own lips, left quivering from moments before, had lifted into one of their own. The older woman had tutted and made to halt the younger one’s hand, but Farah had taken it quicker than she herself could notice. The girl’s hand was warm, and she smelled of something she would later come to know as jasmine and honeysuckle. Her eyes roamed over Farah with as much curiosity as she imagines her own gaze would have been, both of them finding each other a welcome oddity worth unraveling the mystery of. The girl had opened her mouth to say something before closing it, remembering the barrier of language that impeded their understanding of each other. After a moment’s contemplation, she instead settled on squeezing Farah's hand tenderly, before taking her shawl off and carefully draping it around her shoulders. The warm, rich burgundy cloth had settled around Farah like an embrace, offering her a comfort that she had always yearned for. That had been the first thing she had been given, and she had been the first one to give her something in this unfamiliar place.
Anddddd:
Elizabeth walks in with her mean vampire pain-in-the-ass bodyguard on commission, and on his back is a man of incredible height and build, passed out, gray, and miserable-looking. Lizzie looks haggard, hair flying in all directions, shirt askew and unkempt, dirt soiling her fetching black rider’s pants and boots. “We’ve got a problem.” “A tall one,” Farah says with a grin. Mason sneers, hissing out hers, not mine and rolls his eyes, which is the usual response he has for almost every situation —she doesn’t think she’s ever seen him exhibit any other emotion save for anger or frustration—but she catches Lilibet’s awful attempt at hiding a small smile, the small indent of her cheek still prominent despite her best efforts to school her face into an expression of seriousness. “We cannot, and I really cannot stress this enough, Farah dearest, let her know of this,” Lilibet whispers tensely, hunched over the oak wood countertop in an attempt to look casual as they exchange sensitive information. Lilibet’s eyes scan the hotel lounge still, and Mason grunts before his gruff voice sounds, “She’s not here.” Lilibet’s posture settles slightly before she looks at Farah helplessly.
(This happens before the last snippet I shared, where poor Nate has his head bashed against an ornament)

Just some soft Masabeth goodness, for wayhavenvalentines prompts one & two: teeth and safe space
this made me laugh — please tell me about the straight up hater (no pressure ofc!) 🥰 (~agentnatesewell)
Hello lovely! So happy to see you!
Lol I imagine these two being so much more saltier and mean to each other it is literally the "girl who's nice to EVERYONE except for you" trope haha
Liz loves to think she's so straightforward and honest until she falls for Mason. Everyday in book 2 esp was just constantly complaining to Tina except Tina knew that that's Liz's way of talking more about him lol
Like "Did you see the stupid expression his stupid face made when I suggested- Why are you smiling like that?"
Tina and Verda are sipping their teas, side eyeing her while Liz rambles about how much she doesn't like him and how he's SO annoying lol
...and then makes sure her and Mason pass the most shaded part of town so he obviously doesn't complain about the sun and NOT because she cares. Nope, couldn't be her
They argue to hell and back, so many sarcastic quips flying left and right that Ava has to put them in timeout and seperates them in the SUV by having Liz sit in the front and Mason at the back. This is also a huge problem lmfao and Mason complains all the way, much to Nat's chagrin and Felix's amusement
The carnival date in my head is just Liz fighting Mason to sit on the most colorful unicorn on the carousel lmfao and he's petty and he doesn't give two shits about where to sit until Liz wants it 😂
It's only after Liz saves Sanja where both of them are forced to confront some feelings until they resort to their default dumbass settings with M being confused but not giving a shit and Liz just being in denial. So much denial. Girlie has been THROUGH it
Sorry for such a long essay lol I love thinking about them bickering and sniping long into their relationship but they must hold hands and be joined at the hip whilst they're doing it lol
Thank you for giving me an excuse to go crazy about my Masabeth brainrot haha
