I'm still here!
It has been absolutely too long since I have posted anything and for that I am sorry.
Things in Israel have become a bit more routine since I last posted. I am very much comfortable at my school and the way everything in my life is flowing at the current moment!
Here is a brief schedule of my weekly activities:
Sunday: Usually Sundays are reserved for ITF or Masa activities. Two weeks ago we traveled to the Dead Sea and Ein Gedi and in a few weeks we will have a three-night trip to the Negev desert. Some Sundays, like today, are given to us as rest days.. we like these :)
Monday: Monday is my day off from teaching for it is also the English teachers' day off. However I do have Hebrew Ulpan from 4-6.
Tuesday: I teach from 8:50-1, then have ITF "Enrichment" from 4-6.
Wednesday: I teach from 8-1, then have another Hebrew Ulpan from 4-6.
Thurday: Thursday is the longest day of teaching, with six classes from 8-1:40, but fortunately there is no after-school activity on this day.
Friday: Friday is a short day at school from 8-11:45, for the students get out early because of Shabbat.
Saturday: SHABBAT! G'd says rest, so I rest. hehe
and then it starts all over again!
This weekend will be a long one for me because Tuesday, Election day here in Israel, is a day off from school.. hello 5-day weekend!!
Tuesday however is also the 2-year anniversary of my mother's passing so it will be hard day.
Anyways.. not much else to report, just wanted to come on here and give yall a little something!! Hope everyone had a great weekend and shavua tov! (good week!)
