The Boy Who Lived A Bit by Barbarella, and the sequel, Care of Magical Teenagers. I’m not sure which one I was reading when I made that post. I definitely recommend the series though!

We should. Well, if it helps I think working on comics is at least a productive reason not to have much to show. In the long run, it's going to benefit you more than having a lot of illustrations and merchendise.
I do agree. A lot of people have been telling me to get back into comics anyway, and honestly it's my strong suit. I just keep getting tempted to stray from the path, and I need to not do that, especially since as you said; it would benefit me much more than prints and merch (though I guess prints and merch based on my comics would be cool extras, but that's not the point! XD ).

What happened? :<... I mean, I don't know if it helps, but I know the feeling. I feel invisible when it comes to my art no matter how much I improve. Sooner or later, you're going to be too awesome to ignore.
I think I'm just letting disappointment get to me--applications for Animazement opened up, and I was disappionted that I didn't have more to show since I've been so busy working on my comics. That disappointment just kinda found its way into my head; I've been bummed out all day. It's just hard to be visible, especially when your style is so different and your subject matter rather niche. We should form a support group.
