❕ MASATARU ALERT❕
Before I talk about about Matsuoka X Hotaru ship I wanna make it clear before Haruki appeared I did shipped them but after I got hit by Harutaru everything changed, with that said let me share a weird dream I had yesterday regarding Masataru because there's people on the fandom I'm sure ship them 🙂
So the story begins when Hotaru it's already in the USA and Matsuoka moves there too later due to a strange condition of his body after he unsealed the power he got during the last TGC to find a cure or treatment to help his health.
Hotaru starts to take care of Matsuoka almost living in the same house of how often she stays in his apartment making most stuff (laundry, cooking, cleaning) for him because he barely can walk without a help due to the pain in his legs and lack of energy. As they keep being closer and closer everyday their friendship starts developing to a romance but Matsuoka feels bad for making Hotaru do so many things for him all the time and how useless or a burden he's being to her due to his health state.
Their emotions towards each other gets even more strong to the point even Hotaru's mom complaints while talking to Hotaru's father about Hotaru's deep bond with Matsuoka and how they're been spending a lot of time together daily.
One day they were in the subway waiting to take the train back to Matsuoka's home after a long session in the doctor and Hotaru starts to discuss with Matsuoka because his improvement it's been slow(trying to comfort him), Matsuoka was very upset because of his slow recovery while she was trying to be positive but she was very exhausted (the week had been a hard one). They start fighting to the point Hotaru decides to leave with her feelings conflicted but Matsuoka goes after her calling her desesperated because he knew his words hurt her even if that wasn't his intention.
Hotaru ends up crying while walking, Matsuoka caught her and surrounds her in a wall having difficulty to breathe properly (and using the wall as support with his arm a bit over Hotaru's head) being incredibly close to Hotaru. Having their faces so close to each other, Hotaru gets red and Matsuoka intensely look at her while sincerely apologizing for his actions lately yet with difficulty to talk and for making her cry.
Hotaru smiles drying off the tears in her face and hugs Matsuoka realizing both of them had been struggling lately and how their feelings reached each other's hearts. Suddenly Matsuoka feels a lack of energy which makes him fall onto Hotaru's arms.
Later on, once they're at home, Matsuoka is at his bed, Hotaru it's finishing the soup she made for him and brings it to him. She sat near him in the bed, they both start talking about the time Toy Gun Gun were completely together back in Japan (with nostalgic feelings) and once again he apologized for being a burden to her but she doesn't accept such statement assuring him she loves to be with him and to take care of him. They get close once again and this time Matsuoka holds her face while sweetly touching her cheek, Hotaru close her eyes and Matsuoka slowly but sweetly (in a romantic way) kissed her lips both of them finally understanding what their feelings and relationship had become.
End of the dream (cause I end up waking up). I may have left some part out cause I can't entirely remember my dream. I personally found it beautiful and I literally were exploring with all the emotions between them. You guys can imagine how these situations looks like 😉
