Part 3 aftermath including little Maskit and where he is in all of this, during Jokers recovery of his vampire curse.

Warning this post talks a bit about suicide, as well as a heavy underlying theme of losing one's parents. Viewer discretion advised:

I continued the story a bit in the comments of my last post, (feel free to check that out: Some more Head Canons (based on what was confirmed by Genka-SD as well as some tweaking on my part) on Maskit. As well as a Part 2. to Joker still being left with vampiric traits after getting bitten by Dracula).

Anyways to continue on with the story- Joker would frequently drift away from the family, often telling Harley that he has work to do somewhere else. And Harley asks where / how long he is going to be and if she can come and help. Joker reasurres her that it is private matters and that he will be back shortly. What he actually does, is go into the chemical plant of where he became Joker and contemplated.

It was an old wound, but one that fully healed, apart from his new one. So, their Joker is sulking, one night he spends too long at the chemical plant and races back home. (It's about 3 in the morning), by the time he gets to the hideout he finds Harley sleeping in his bed, cuddling their son. Joker doesn't disturb Harley, so he decides to take over making breakfast. A couple of pancake mix, eggs, and milk later and he is made enough food for the whole family.

Maskit is about 5 now and can eat solid food. Harley is a bit surprised, but she doesn't say anything. After breakfast Harley approaches Joker in private, and asks him what's going on, he isn't acting like his normal self. Joker shrugs trying to fake a smile. But Harley's concern shatters him. Joker admits to feelings of suicide, which Harley gasps. But Joker backtracks, flustered saying "Well I didn't go through with it, I mean if there is no Joker of Gotham what does it make of Batman?" Harley brushes off the comment: "The hell with bats, what good does it make of us as a family, of your son that still needs you? Why now would've you had this idealization of doing something so...crazy?!"

Joker sighs, wanting to excuse himself for a bit of a smoke. But knowing Harley, she wouldn't allow it. "Baby I love you I truly do, I need you to at least stick around a while longer for us to figure things out, I promise to do what I can." Holding her close they embrace in a short and sweet kiss. And without any of them knowing would be of Maskit's worst fear. Losing his father.
