I would love a scene where MC would have the chance to wash and brush Mason’s hair. At first he would throw a suggestive remark that it would lead into something more intimate. Instead, he just sits down enjoying the warm water and the gentle head massage. For a moment he just melts in the touch and forgets about everything else.

Ok I saw you said you have angsty headcanons and since I too cannot deal with angst I would like to propose a UB reaction to a drunk detective crying when they see a dog/cat and asking UB for one deep in the relationship?

Adam wouldn’t give any response except “no,” though that doesn’t mean he would shut out the idea altogether. Depending on how much and how hard the MC cries, their ‘passion’ might make him consider it. He wouldn’t be entirely against getting a kitty or two.

Nate would be very amused and not at all against the idea. He has always wanted a pet though his job has kept him away from actually getting one. Once the MC stopped crying and he managed to wrangle them home, he would totally be up for discussing this.

Felix would be 100% up for it, you might as well go to a shelter the same day and get a pet right there. He has never had a pet but has been curious about what it would be like to have a little buddy. The crying might weird him out a bit, but otherwise, he’d be right there with you.

Mason wouldn’t really care either way, unsurprisingly. He has never had any desire for pets, but if this was something that the MC wanted so much that they cried, then they might as well get one. He’d probably pry them away from whatever poor animal they were crying over and bring over some purring or barking friend the next day lmao

While Webber couldn’t directly understand spiders but understood their actions, much like how you could recognize a cat’s meow begging for food but not know what its actually saying, Mason can understand them fine and they’ll whisper all that they’ve seen to him. Perfect spies is what spiders are.

Ok, I literally just now got a notification for this, and while I do have some other answers to post, the idea of someone saying ‘ok boomer’ to Adam or Nate makes me cackle so hard. Also, before you read, keep in mind that I didn’t take myself too seriously in this answer lmao

Adam would just sigh. The amount of shit this man has to deal with from Felix has probably made him get used to this type of what-the-fuckery. He honestly wouldn’t even ask what any of it meant, maybe he’d just give a nasty glance.

Nate would be lost in every type of vortex, abyss, void, etc. You can’t just bring up a meme and expect this relic of a man to understand what you’re talking about, smh. He might ask what it means, but even if it was explained, he probably wouldn’t get it.

Felix would be right there with you, tbh. He wouldn’t get it at first since the agency doesn’t really let them have internet or social media, but oh my god, if you ever introduce this man to memes, you bet your ass he’s gonna own that shit.

Mason would probably laugh if it was directed to the others (FE: Adam being called a boomer), but if you try and pull this shit with him, depending on your level of meme aggression, he will either ignore you or try his best to violently hurt you.

Unit Bravo’s Favorite Things in a Relationship

Adam would really like cuddling in bed. For a stuck-up asshat, he would be surprisingly touchy and would love to snuggle up close with his partner. He'd run his hands through their hair and caress their chest or stomach. This would probably be the most relaxed he will ever be, he might even fall asleep during this.

Nate would very deeply enjoy reading to or with his partner. He'd just grab his partner's favorite book(s) and would make them both very comfy on the couch, with the fireplace crackling in the background and moody lighting. He would slowly stroke his partner's hair without being distracted or distracting them and would read deep into the night.

Felix would love going on rowdy dates with his partner. Theme parks, concerts, etc., would 100% be his thing. His senses would be immensely overstimulated, but to him, it'd only add to the fun time he'd be having with his partner. He'd spend most of the date either blabbering about everything to his date or listening so intensely that he'd forget there were other people there.

Mason would enjoy late-night car rides. Just driving through empty roads with nothing but the occasional street lamp or the static buzz of early 80s music in the background. He wouldn't initiate contact as he is more than content with comfortable silence, but wouldn't mind it if his partner held his hand or leaned on his shoulder.

If the Detective even thought about getting drunk, Adam would already be by their side the entire time. It's unlikely that anyone would think about going up to the Detective with his intimidating presence at their side. Still, if someone did approach, Adam would activate his glare and either make the person soil themselves or try to punch him, which would result in him swiftly restraining them, grabbing them by their collar, and dumping them outside in a nearby dumpster.

Nate would be very uncomfortable but would hide it well. He'd try his best to diffuse the situation and leave without causing chaos. If that wouldn't work, he'd firmly put a hand on the person's shoulder and sternly tell them to leave, all with a smile on his face, a surprisingly intimidating one, but a smile nonetheless. He'd be more concerned the rest of the night and would probably try and get the Detective home early.

Felix would be all over the person, spitting out cutting remarks and snark without breaking a beat. If the person tried to retaliate or wouldn't leave, he'd use a bit of his strength to intimidate and flash his fangs. Once the person finally left, he'd encourage the Detective to stay since he wouldn't want some jackass to rain on their parade; he would, however, subconsciously keep a closer eye on them for the rest of the night.

With Mason, it's unlikely that a creep would even get a full sentence out. He'd be able to smell someone like that from miles away, so the second the Detective got approached by anyone with ulterior motives, he'd be by their side. Would glare at whoever approached the entire time, and if they tried to get closer, he'd borderline growl or grab them and push them away. It's possible that a fight would break out, which Mason would promptly win and then get himself and the Detective kicked out of wherever they were.

Adam would take a second glance. In a relationship, he would enjoy the MC's blushy face and their heartbeat increasing, he'd actually find it very endearing (although he would never admit it!), In a friendship, he'd disapprove of others purposely messing with the MC using this knowledge. (cough cough Felix cough)

Nate would be very, very amused. He's a gent, so he wouldn't ever use this against the MC in public, but in private, he would absolutely adore the way their cheeks flush and would take advantage of this during intimate moments. In a friendship, he would probably chuckle at the way they get so flustered but would try to discourage the others from teasing them.

Felix would have the time of his life with this lmao. At one point, the MC's red face would become one of his favorite sights, and you bet your ass he's gonna tease the hell out of the MC for it. He would find it funny, but on the inside, he would be genuinely happy that the MC does, in fact, have some emotion besides pure stoicism.

Mason, much like Felix, would very much love this. He would 100% abuse his sexiness just to get a reaction and would enjoy the hell out of it. In a friendship, he wouldn't really care but would definitely get a good chuckle if Felix or someone else teased them and turned them into a stuttering mess.

UB’s thoughts on a detective who has self destructive habits outside of work (drinking too much, ignoring mental health, etc) but is very professional and good when on the clock? Please and thank you your writing is so good!

Adam would, unsurprisingly, disapprove. Even if it has little impact on their work, he'd still be concerned for their health. Early in the relationship, he might not do much besides a comment here and there, but after knowing the MC for a while, he'll encourage them to get help.

Nate would be distraught. Early or late in a relationship, he'd try and support the MC while making sure they start laying off their destructive behaviours and get better. The entire situation would be a massive anxiety spike for him.

Felix might not take the MC behaviour seriously at first, cracking a joke about it here and there but eventually, he'd start becoming more distressed about it. He wouldn't try to hide it, and even if he did, he'd be pretty bad at it. He would bring this up to Nate as he would be unsure what to do on his own.

Mason wouldn't care much at first. If it didn't impact them and their missions, then he wouldn't pay attention to it. Later in the relationship, he might start bringing it up with a half-snarky half-hidden-concern comment. But in the end, he wouldn't actually try to do anything about it if the MC didn't express any desire to change.
