BIO POINTS
Mason James McCarthy came from a family of talented and succesful performers. His parents toured around the world and were rarely home, leaving Mason and his twin sister Madison to take care of themselves. Because they spend so much time together, Mason and his twin grew very close. Especially as a child, Mason clung a lot to his more dominant sister. After all, she was the older and smarter twin, so it made sense to him that she would make the right decisions for both of them and know what’s best.
As Mason grew older, he became more aware of the fact that his parents were never around, unlike the parents of his classmates.
Although he understands why his parents are gone most of the time, it made him feel very unloved and unwanted at times. It’s not something that he particularly enjoys talking or thinking about, not even with Madison. Mason just prefers to hide these feelings behind a smile rather than to deal with them.
Mason is extremely close to his twin. They are basically attached at the hip, and that is something Mason has gotten bullied for in the past, even being called “The incest twins”. Mason is glad to have his sister around to look out for him, but sometimes she can be a bit overbearing and controlling. At times he wishes he could have some space from her, but he doesn’t know how to tell her that without hurting her feelings.
Cheerleading has always been a big part of Mason’s life. Since he was three years old he spend every summer at Wapakoneta Summer Cheer Camp with his sister. So, it wasn’t exactly a surprise that the twins were accepted into the cheerleading squad in their freshmen year at high school. Aside from enjoying the routines and giving peptalks, Mason also loved the popularity that came with his cheerleading outfit.
Mason aspires to become a performer himself, just like his parents. He is very passionate about singing, dancing and musical theater. After graduation, Madison and him decided to go to Cyprus-Rhodes University. Much to his surprise he got accepted into the top fraternity Omega Chi Delta and is incredibly excited about being part of the in-crowd at school.
