I’ve had these from @juviasplace for awhile now but the box had just been sitting there collecting dust w/ all the items unopened because I usually don’t feel like putting #makeup on even in the rare occasions that I do leave my house, but having to put makeup on for SDCC has inspired me to start testing all the makeup I’ve been buying and collecting lately. I got the #MasqueradeMini #eyeshadow #palette because I saw #MissUniverse #CatrionaGray use it in a makeup tutorial she posted on YT a long time ago. I can’t wait to try the #eyeshadowpalette soon - I used another palette for my eyes on Saturday when testing the Juvia’s Place items because I felt like mixing and matching. The #foundation and #concealer have long been highly rated and recommended by makeup gurus, influencers, and enthusiasts - I just haven’t had a chance to figure out my shade match and buy the products. I think the foundation I got may be a little dark for me, perhaps because I haven’t really been venturing outside much for the past 2 years… The concealer I really like even though the large applicator took my by surprise at first - what am I doing, putting on lip gloss? LOL. The foundation is #matte and it’s winter so I’m dryer than usual so it was probably a bad idea to use the Too Faced peachy matte primer which I also wanted to test out OOPS. Dry on top of dry on top of dry was not a good combo for makeup to wear for curling where it’s cold AF at the rink… By far the star of the 3 Juvia’s Place items I tried out this weekend was the #highlighter which was actually a freebie because if the amount I purchased. Highly recommend the #HeroineGlow 👏 I have the I and I’m considering getting the II even though I don’t wear makeup enough to justify needing it. For the longest time the only highlighter I had was Benefit High Beam, it’s still my favorite and go to, but I’m loving Heroine Glow I.
