Ryder is dealing with an uncomfortable situation. There is a person constantly flirting with them. After repeatedly turning them down and insisting they are happily taken already, their word is not taken seriously and they persist. With no other option, Ryder ask for their Lover's assistance.

Liam: she doesn’t even need to ask, he’s already there after the slimy guy puts his hand on her’s. “Hey babe what seems to be the problem? Is this guy bugging you?” He stands beside her and attempts to intimidate the guy as he says this, causing the offender to quickly slink off under his gaze, muttering some choice words under his breath. After being thanked for the save, he smiles and tells her that he’s always there for her

Cora: they’re at a diplomatic party when Ryder is unfortunately bombarded by a large group of women from various races, everyone wants to get with the charming Pathfinder after all. He manages to sneak off briefly and pretty much begs his girlfriend to save him. She sighs and agrees, so the next time the group finds him, they quickly walk the other direction after seeing Cora on Ryder’s arm, talking about her skills in biotics while glaring at them at the right times in the stories and them resuming a kindly face to talk to the angaran in front of her. Ryder is never so glad to have a girlfriend who can probably kick his ass. 

Suvi: when she sees Ryder mouthing for her assistance from across the bar, Suvi calmly goes up to the asari woman who was so boldly flirting against Ryder’s insistence, puts on her nicest smile and says “Would you kindly loan me my girlfriend for awhile? I do believe that she’d rather be spending time with me right about now.” The asari, offended that Suvi suddenly made an entrance, simply turns her nose up in the air and walks off. Suvi is smirking at her victory, and Ryder is very relieved 

Gil: they were at the Kadara docks doing a little bit of work on the Tempest wheels when he spots another guy flirting with Ryder, and his said boyfriend was chuckling nervously as he tried to persuade the guy that he was happily in a relationship. Gil catches his eyes and Ryder makes a small gesture for help so he saunters over and slips a hand around his boyfriend’s waist. “Heyyyy there, everything alright love?” He’s glaring at the offender and tries his best to look intimidating. The other man quickly apologizes after seeing that Gil meant business and was armed, with a wrench no less. “Well Ryder, I’m afraid that we’ll need to discuss a way to show everyone that you’re mine.” He says with a smirk

Vetra: while at Kralla’s Song, Ryder is harassed by some asari mercenary who continues to flirt with them despite their claims that they’re in a relationship. The asari is clearly intoxicated so it prompts Vetra to walk up to the bar counter with much swagger and makes a big show of going into between the two and slipping her gun onto the counter. “Umi! Whiskey, neat.” The asari is affronted, but says nothing since Vetra already has a hand on the trigger and towers over her. Vetra then turns to Ryder and leans against the counter surface. “Oh hey there Ryder! Don’t suppose you’d want to make conversation with me instead would you?” Thank gosh that Ryder has a awesome girlfriend.

Peebee: Aw hell no! When Ryder comes looking for their girlfriend’s assistance with a few pushy females at the diplomatic party on the Nexus, she opts for escape rather than confrontation and causes a small distraction she got Poc to scare them it wasn’t pretty  , and both of them manage to make it to one of the upper floors that no one ever really goes to and spend the rest of the day there much to Tann’s displeasure when he finds out later 

Jaal: during another visit to Aya, Ryder finds herself surrounded by many angaran men and women alike, and propositioned by more than a few. It’s a good thing Jaal is never far, and he manages to make his way to her and declares to those present that she is unfortunately taken by yours truly and has to attend to more personal matters at this time. When she thanks him for helping her out, he simply smiles and says it’s his duty to ensure his girlfriend’s comfort at all times

Reyes: both were drinking at Tartarus on Kadara when Ryder is cornered by some drunk guy who begins to flirt non-stop with them. They tried to put them do nicely but clearly since the guy was taking no for an answer, Reyes decided to step in. “I’m terribly sorry but it would seem that we don’t care much for your presence. Would you kindly go away now?” The guy tries to swing a punch at him but he just catches it and basically pistol whips him. “Ryder, what do you say we get out of here and do something a little more fun?” Ryder can’t answer because he’s already dragging them out the door

Tempest crew react to Ryder getting a cat as a pet

As far as first requests go, this is pretty sweet, let’s get down to business shall we?

Liam: Is 101% down for this, having something from Earth in Andromeda lets him get back that sense of familiarity, and it’s proof that the Initiative is working to the point where they can start to enjoy luxuries like this. Not to mention that the cat is extremely cute, especially if the cat is a kitten.

Cora: She raises an eyebrow at the choice of pet, but secretly enjoys having the furry beast around. If alone with it, you can expect her to be playing with it until someone else comes around. Then she would probably hurriedly assume a casual position that doesn’t make it seem like she was thoroughly enjoying petting it.

Vetra: She was never really into the cat craze that all humans seemed to have, but after seeing one of them up close like this, she sees the appeal. It’s cute, it’s furry, and seems to make an effort to get close to her by constantly rubbing against her. If it doesn’t mind her, then she wouldn’t really mind it as well.

Gil: Mostly indifferent towards it’s presence, that is until said cat decides to make its way into engineering. Then he spends a good part of the day chasing it down and catching it before returning it to a very amused Ryder and swearing war on it. Probably reenacted that one post about the cat knocking stuff off the table in front of him

Suvi: Immediately starts cuddling with it, probably offered Ryder to babysit it while they were off doing Pathfinder things. She’ll probably have it in her lap the whole duration that she’s at the helm and Ryder’s not around. Most definitely wants one of her own.

 Peebee: When she finds the cat in the escape pod, she just lets it chill there, maybe even bringing it some food. As long as it doesn’t try to mess with her stuff or knock things over, it’s totally okay with her.

Drack: It might not look like it, but this old timer likes having the cat around. He would also let it sit on top of him, being so big and all, and would just walk around everywhere with it. It is really cute after all.

Jaal: He had never seen one of these, so when Ryder introduces him to their pet, he is cautious at first. After having it hang around for some time though, he pretty much turns into a cat lover. Every other creature around the Heleus cluster either has scales or wants to kill you, most of the time it’s both, so this cat is a national treasure to him and he wants to get some for his family back home.

Kallo: What is it with humans and cats? The fact that Ryder has brought it onto the Tempest is something else altogether, but as long as it doesn’t go around messing with the ship he’s pretty okay with it. Sometimes he’ll even leave out some water for it if he’s not to busy.

Can you do the companions reacting to Ryder talking about wanting kids? Romances too?

Liam: he’s actually hoping that he’ll one day be able to do the same, I mean that’s the purpose of coming to Andromeda right? Well we are trying to start a life and all. Of course he’ll have to fall in love with the right person first.

If Romanced: he’s relieved that she thinks the same, and tells her exactly that. They spend the next few hours discussing details like boy or girl, and what color they’re going to paint the room.

Cora: she respects their decision but doesn’t outright say that she wants the same thing. She’ll wish Ryder luck with whoever their lover is and tell them to go for it

If Romanced: she blushes a bit when he just states it so openly, but tells him that she eventually wants the same, and that she’s glad it’s with him. (Casual Personality) When he offers to get started now, she facepalms

Suvi: having kids someday is a big dream to her, and she tells Ryder that she’s there to support them all the way, and they have a chat about what they would name their kids

If Romanced: its pretty much the same, but with a much longer talk on what the future holds for them, with a few added kisses too. She tells them of all the ways they could adopt a child.

Gil: he jokingly offers to be the godfather, or at least the kooky uncle, to which Ryder agrees with laughter. He also says he’ll teach any of their kids to play poker. “Gil no.” “Gil yes.”

If Romanced: well Jill is going to be all over him if she ever got wind of this. He claims he’ll be dad one and Ryder will be dad two if they ever did get kids. They then argue who will be the best dad.

Vetra: She immediately gives advice, raising Sid has practically already made her a mom. She also gives them a serious discussion of what they will be getting into

If Romanced: She’ll sheepishly admit she does want kids as well, and asks what sort of kids Ryder wants. But she’ll also start thinking on when would even be a good time, what with Ryder being a Pathfinder and all. Maybe when all of them settled down?

Peebee: Kids? She tells them that she’s not all that into them, but if they want to go for it then they should do what they want. And that she thinks Ryder will have wonderful kids with whoever they’re romancing

If Romanced: She’s momentarily stunned, since she’s never thought about really having any of her own since her life is constantly on the move, and she had never considered having any in any previous relationships, but once she thinks through it she thinks that just maybe it’ll be nice to start a family

Jaal: He actually encourages them to have children, telling them all about the Angaran families and how they always enjoy time spent with each other. He wishes them well in this endeavor.

If Romanced: He tells her that he has thought about it, but now wonders if humans and angara are even compatible. Then he asks how many do they wish on having, because he most definitely wants at least five

 Drack: Tells them to do it, because it’ll really open their eyes, it did for him. He’ll then launch into stories of when he was trying to raise Kesh.

Kallo: Children? Well, he doesn’t really have an opinion, but as long as Ryder doesn’t decide to eventually leave them with him on the Tempest while they’re doing their Pathfinder duties then he’s fine with it
