A human Cerberus officer. She is very well traveled and has many contacts. Miranda was genetically engineered, by her father, to be a specimen of human perfection. She is very straight shooting and incredibly smart. Shepard encourages her to give herself more credit for her accomplishments. While she is initially weary of a relationship she becomes more open to it over time eventually leading to something between them.
