me2 is my fave yes it’s messy and its premise of shepard dying in the beginning to work for tim is brute forced into the narrative in a way that’s annoying and cheapens the lore of my sole survivor shep but it’s literally a game comprised mostly of therapy breakthroughs and 3am bonding punctuated by moments of violence and plot which only seem to matter when you have no more corporate team building exercises left in your dossier

i usually try to keep work and my tumblr separate, but since it seems like this is something people in the ME fandom might be interested in and i’ve already shared on my fandom twitter, i thought, “why not?” so, here you go: my attempt at using ME and its disability rep to comment on disability history and eugenics. this is the second part of the column series on ME. you can find the first part in the link, which touches on the more positive aspects of ME’s disability rep and how much it means to me personally.
please bear in mind that i had an 800 word limit and the site i write for isn’t a gaming site, but a site for people with rare diseases, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. this means i had to make sure my descriptions and my point would be understood by a general audience.
