Big Transformers antagonists:

Megatron: Classic.

Unicron: Like the final boss of any Transformer series.

Megatronus/Liege Maximo: When you want something bigger than Megatron but not as big as Unicron.

Any Autobot antagonist: Adds a little flavour.

Devil Z: I just want this guy to come back to one series just for the ‘This guy???’ or ‘And who the HELL is this thing?’ moment the audience would have. Good last-minute surprise antagonist.

I do think there's opportunities there!! He's got unique origins, and all the pictures on his tfwiki page give such fascinating scenes, and really we need more main antagonist variety in Transformers there's a lot of options out there

I find it funny that in Masterforce, Devil Z declares itself the ‘Decepticon God’

Imagine it in another continuity like-

“Hello Megatron, sorry but since I’m basically all-powerful I’m now not only leader but god of the Decepticons and Overlord will be my little disciple.”

“Wait hold on how did I get roped into this?”

That would be incredibly funny, though in juuuust the right continuity and context I could see Megatron begrudgingly bowing out to a higher power suddenly claiming the decepticon faction if it meant he saw potential benefit to himself and/or the faction (though. See the situation in bayverse, where he's already been under a certain amount of overarching control like with the Fallen or Unicron towards the end)

I can see SUCH a juicy arc where it's Megatron's turn being a traitorous underling, and in a different continuity there's a nice dynamic in Overlord being the reluctant champion for a force like Devil Z :33 (it could change the dynamics between Megatron and Overlord in fun ways too)

Frankly, isn't it such a decepticon move for the self proclaiming Decepticon God to be some random all powerful force that claimed the decepticons as its own??
