Headcanons for Akane being the rival and/or the mastermind like she was originally supposed to be?
I’ve done rival Akane before, so I’ll do mastermind Akane now!
She knew how to play dumb. Boy, did she pull that one off! As long as she acted like that, she wouldn’t be suspected of murder, much less being the mastermind of the game!
While she was sure these people would catch on if she wasn’t careful, she didn’t mind being a bit reckless. There was no fun in being careful all the time, after all.
For all she cared, she could end up a victim. That sure would stir up some chaos, and then- well, she wasn’t sure what would happen to the game after that, but it would be good!
Deceiving them didn’t make her feel guilty, not even when she “got close” to Nekomaru. She could play a role and play it well, and so she did; the dumb, hungry, eager-to-fight gymnast.
She couldn’t wait to see the looks on everyone’s faces if/when she revealed herself. It was sure to be a monumental occasion, and she was so there for it!
