Eric tries to flex his RIZZ wings with Muriel and Crowley isn’t having it.
Daddy? Sorry.
Headcanons for Yakuza!Akane?
one of the best fitting imo
Akane promised herself when she was young that she would do anything to help her siblings. She never imagined doing so as part of the yakuza, but if it worked…
Thanks to the natural strength she kept honing alongside her instincts, she rose in the ranks before she was even out of middle school. It helped that she was often underestimated.
She’d long since outgrown any fear she had going into tough situations. Akane saw herself both as a businesswoman and as an enforcer, handling herself even with minimal backup.
Hope’s Peak was an odd choice, but Akane figured it might set her siblings up even more. She’d take what she could get. What were a few short years of weirdly talented classmates?
She never had a peer her own age because of her occupation, so she was fine with being avoided if her classmates felt like it. Akane knew she was intimidating, even without knowledge of her talent.
All better?
you ever think about the creativitwin dynamic as it was introduced in Remus' debut? Like, how in order for Remus to have his moment in the spotlight, he had to knock Roman out first?
Roman wasn't even aware of Remus' tamperings the night prior, he practically had to beg to be in the loop about why everyone was so moody at the start of that video. I always assumed he was either busy at the time, or more likely that he was just asleep in the mind palace (subconscious) while Remus was being an active terror that night.
The first time we see them both fully awake and side-by-side is right after Roman wakes up at the end, and from that point forward they're allowed to be on screen at the same time without one of them being dormant or hidden.
This may be a bit of a stretch, but it was almost like there was only ever ONE slot open to accommodate a "single" creativity at a time before Thomas was made aware of Remus' existence. Maybe that was the first time in the longest that Thomas fully "allowed" both of them to even be awake at the same time.
There's already a LOT of angst potential in there being a sleeping beauty-esque quality to the role of creativity where only one twin can be awake/totally aware at a time with very little overlap. I can picture one twin sitting by the other as they doze, lamenting that they can never truly collaborate or even speak to each other properly because they have to take turns being awake.
I picture them only ever being able to communicate through letters to one another that they dicover when they're awake + Remus moving stuff around in Roman's room and/or the imagination…..
But I also think of Janus
There's a possibility that when Virgil left, Janus was well and truly alone.
He might not have even fully had Remus as a real companion after that, since Roman was likely awake and burning the candle at both ends all the time, considering that he canonically has a horrible/turbulent sleeping schedule.
I imagine Janus longing for Virgil's return and only ever having the company of someone who was unconscious more often than not, stuck in a magical sort of fairytale slumber that he would only ever stir from occasionally, and how lonely that must have been…
anyway yeah i hurt my own feelings thinking about it lmao, had to share with the class
Announcing ao3 is down within seconds feels like what being a town crier the day of a volcan eruption must've been . i imagine
saw another one of those "Loto has a different accent than everyone else" takes yesterday. usually I wouldn't care too much beyond mild annoyance, but this video then went on to say it suggested that Loto was from another island, and to me that is actually a really fun-sounding idea, because nobody would know. An entire person would just have shown up one day and no one would have questioned it, because if people knew Moana wouldn't have been so excited to find the pottery as proof of other people. This, to me at least, would also imply that Loto has received aid directly or indirectly from a god or demigod that got her past Nalo's barriers. And she never once brings it up to anyone. Does it not occur to her to bring it up? Has she been told not to tell? Or does she simply prefer not to discuss it (or think about it, or acknowledge it happened)? Who knows!
so this foreign Loto au idea is bouncing around my head now
have some concepts
Loto 100% traveled accidentally by getting swept out to sea while testing a small canoe.
There was likely some form of divine intervention involved in getting from island a to Motunui.
Loto was like eleven or something and her initial response was to assimilate herself into the worksite environment so she could watch and learn to build a better canoe to sail home. Somehow no one questioned her presence, and so she spent several months mimicking the craftsmen and other apprentices and wondering why all the Motunuian canoes were small.
She has thought about telling others before, but it's been years, she doesn't have proof, and she's already been called crazy and not really been able to refute the allegations, so... it may be better not to bring it up.
When she's alone she'll still talk or sing to herself in her native tongue, and she often dreams in it too. Sometimes she talks in her sleep, but most people think it's just nonsense. Occasionally she'll yelp out a swear in the language too, but in this case her talking speed works in her favor and most people assume they just didn't hear her clearly.
Getting swept out to sea meant a complete lack of provisions, so later Loto can be a little high-strung about freshwater supplies and food stores when voyaging.
This all has to come to a head somehow after Moana 2. I have no idea how that goes down though.
Hey. Spreading the word to tumblr, aka "I don't like this change so I WILL complain about it" personified.
Discord is bringing mobile ads in June 2025. They've officially announced this.
SPREAD THE WORD!!! WITH ENOUGH BACKLASH, MAYBE THEY'LL RETHINK IT- OR AT LEAST DELAY IT!
I know its a common thought to be like "this group in a fantasy has the vibes of friends playing dnd" but the group in Moana 2 really feels like people playing dnd. Like the nerdy historian, the logical artificer, the farmer, the princess, the coconut warrior guy....
OH MY GOSH WHAT IF THEY WERE
Moana, Moni, and Maui are the ones who've actually played games like this before and know what they're doing. Kotu and Loto are new to it but fast learners. No one knows how or why Kele is there but it probably has to do with Gramma Tala. Dunno who DMs but i do have this mental image of the blobfish scene where Loto says she wants her character to taste the slime. There's a pause before she's told to roll Constitution.
For personal reasons I've decided that gnome years in house in the cerulean sea work kinda like dog years as in one gnome year is shorter than the time the earth needs to circle the sun. As in when Talia says she's 200 and whatnot years she's actually around 12 and for all i care has several birthdays a year but i can't bear the thought of her whole family dying of old age before she even reaches adult-age. I can't fucking have her see her family die i can't :)
The house when it's in the cerulean sea or whateva

Byakuya: The sweet release of death?
Toko: The fact that I will only get coal from Santa?
Hiro: Getting drunk on my own while crying in the bathtub?
Makoto: I was going to say “ugly sweaters competition” but you know what? We're going to therapy.
Aoi: Who do you think you’re calling a bitch?
