A new project that I have been working on behind the scenes! @staffandsnake is the physical home of The Poisoner’s Apothecary and whereby will be making all of my herbal magic! The shop is located above Sumitra Espresso Lounge in Gulfport, FL; a cute artsy neighborhood with a vibrant plant medicine community. Staff and Snake sits at the intersection of the Poison Path and plant spirit medicine, sharing the power of our poisonous allies alongside other ceremonial herbs and ethnobotanicals. Baneful Herb Infused Candles! Here is a peek at a new project I have in the works! I will be creating a series of candles infused with the essences of baneful herbs. The candles will be safe to burn and will offer people another option to incorporate poison plant spirits into their practice. Each herb has its own set of correspondences and associated spirits, and like any other herbal ingredient they can be incorporated in to rituals that they are best suited to. These candles can also be used as a meditative focal point to connect with the plant spirit in a regular basis to receive insight and create a deeper connection with the plant spirit. Each candle will be infused with an extraction of the herb and will be marked with its plant spirit glyph. If flying ointments and oils aren’t an option for you, these candles offer a sage way to connect with the powerful energy of these spirits.
