Rosewood and Silver Rings I’ve had these ring settings for months now because I ordered the wrong size and couldn’t find anything that would actually fit. When I was in the cemetery the other day I collected some rose wood from a bush that grows on a grave, and I sliced them into little pieces. It struck me that these would possibly be the perfect size and they are! Really excited to finally be using these because EVERYTHING gets used! I’m going to finish these off with some resin and they will look fantastic! I always prefer working with plant material vs stones. Rose is one of my favorite plant Allie’s because it has both a baneful and beautiful side. It is a symbol of occult secrets and alchemical transformation. The rose is also an important plant of the various spirits that are the Witch Queen. I am so so so excited to share these with you all! These are the first three Plant Spirit Glyph Pendants!!! Foxglove, Wolfsbane and Belladonna are three important plant spirit allies on the Poison Path! I wanted to create a way for people to connect with the magic of their plant spirit familiars without having to grow, ingest or obtain poisonous or hard to find plant material. Once we connect with a plant spirit’s medicine we can access its qualities through sympathy and ritual. Each glyph was created in ritual with the associated plant spirit. Pure atropine extraction for pharmaceutical medication. I’m experimenting with the isolation and extractions of alkaloids and their salts and understanding their behavior is very helpful to creating formulas with them. Mandrake is probably one of the best plant allies to seek out when working with familiar spirits. Oftentimes it is the spirit of the plant that acts in a familiar capacity in spellwork and journeying, but mandrake is unique in that it helps facilitate a connection with any familiar spirit. Mandrake extract can be used to anoint the body as part of a ritual to connect with the witch’s familiar, an entity that can take any form. Mandrake is the maker of pacts and with its help the agreement between witch and spirit is binding, feeding power to both parties. I like to use the mandrake tincture as a way to enliven root fetishes on the dark moon to confer to them additional chthonic power and feed their spirits. Constructing a liquid plant spirit vessel as a demonstration for my Patreon page. This is a ritually prepared vehicle for plant spirit power. It contains all parts of a plant spirit ally’s physical body, mixed with the blood of the practitioner in an alcohol base. The process can be done for individual or multiple plant spirit familiars in one container. The vessel Is also ritually prepared and displayed on the altar or it’s own shrine with offerings specific to that familiar spirit. The liquid can be used in spell work to enhance the power of a working or for other purposes revealed by the familiar spirit.
