Notes: This would’ve been out yesterday.... if I hadn’t underestimated the size of the text, and therefore had to spend like an hour moving stuff around to make everything fit somewhat aesthetically. I don’t actually know what’s the proper size for text, so I’m... doing some trial and error. Well! something to work on, I guess.
Notes: Hello I am alive, I said I was gonna post, didn’t I. This took me... 1 hr or so for the basic layout + colors, 1 hr for me fucking up, then I... did everything else in maybe 4 hrs. +1 hr for figuring out where my thought bubbles should actually go.
Frisk accidentally wanders into the scene of a crime, Sans is tired, and a mugger has a very bad day. (Or: why robbing children isn't as easy as it looks.)

Hey @masutrout. Bet you thought this was never coming.
A year ago, I thought masutrout’s fic was awesome and asked for permission to do a comic of it. I proceeded not to actually do a comic about it, because the scene I wanted to do for the first page challenged my anatomy skills and I... eventually got tired of redrawing it.
And now. Here we are. A year later. I have thumbnailed my way through almost all of the fic, and, as of 09/14/2018 (today), there are 43 planned pages. Am I gonna update regularly? God I hope so. Let’s say at least once a week. With hiatuses during exam weeks.
Now. Let’s see if I can actually fucking draw this.

This is wonderful!
Thank you very much! (High praise from you, your writing’s wonderful.) DX has such a strong mood and feel. I’m finding that a lot of the stuff I’m writing for it is missing scenes and character pieces, because I’m trying to capture that. I guess this is what happens when I listen to the MD soundtrack and Faunts. Oops.

ALL EXCELLENT QUESTIONS. I guess I assumed the ‘Galtea watch over you’ bit was sort of equivalent to asking one’s ancestors to watch over them? But even that’s odd, since I have no clue why whichever high priest it was would be the first choice of character to say that. And I can’t even begin to guess at the reason Raithwell’s house would be Galtea in the first place.
Right, so I feel like we’re kind of back at:
a place
a people
a god
all of the above?
which helps not at all
compound this with the notion that house galtea gave rise to house nabradia and house dalmasca, for which the countries are named. Perhaps Galtea was what the unified states of the Galtean alliance were called..?
masutrout replied to your post: WHY is it called the Galtean Alliance? What is...
The Sage Knowledge for House Dalmasca says: “ Bloodline begun by the second prince of Dalmasca to take up the mantle of rule after King Raithwall’s passing. The reign of Raithwall’s direct descendants, House Galtea, drew to a close after 400 years, marking the end of the Galtean Alliance, and the beginning of rule by House Dalmasca.” It is, IIRC, the *only* place in the game Galtea is even semi-explained, which is an odd worldbuilding decision.
I feel like this complicates matters even further though. If it’s Raithwall’s house, why is it House Galtea? Is THAT because of the peninsula? And is it house galtea watching over Rasler??????
