One of the rarest Mateba revolvers is the MTR-6, at first glance, it appears to be a 2006M but it presents some key differences.

The MTR-6 came to be as an evolution of the MTR-8 and it would latter evolve into the 2006M. The MTR-6 has a different rear sight, the same sliding trigger as the MTR-8 and ,in earlier versions, a hollow grip that held a spare 6 round moon clip, this version was called the MTR-6+6.
