since i am in a period of low finances (although on the future upswing), now is a great time for self-reflection. instead of mourning the low, or taking advantage of the high, it is best just to have trust that it will work out. concentrate on gratitude. the best way to do so for me would be to step back from impulsiveness, stop sleepwalking through my life and its decisions, and make mindful, conscious choices. no more auto-pilot.

i am being asked to think critically. i’ve had too many impulsive, #yolo-driven decisions in the past, and it’s time to settle down and become mindful of the reasons i make my choices. i must accept the truth about the reasons i do things, and balance head and heart in it all. this will lead me to my better investments. growing up.
