joseph frowned into his scarf. he hadn’t been in this strange, futuristic version of japan long, but he was sure there was something different than usual with the main in front of him. joseph made sure to hide far enough behind that the man shouldn’t have been able to notice him, but considering how suspicious he was, he probably already had.
he wasn’t even sure WHAT was bothering him so much about the stranger, but joseph felt like the he was incredibly dangerous. maybe not physical strength, but something that was SCARY and POWERFUL enough to be giving joseph warning bells. he was certain of it. there was some kind of aura around him that he couldn’t place.
awful sneaking aside, there was the question of how he should approach this. he couldn’t keep spying forever, could he? that was ridiculous. the stranger definitely had the upper hand in that case. the only thing he would be able to do was throw him off. something so stupid and ridiculous that he wouldn’t see it coming at all.
joseph WALKED straight up to the stranger and cleared his throat.
❝oh?❞ he said, giving a small grin and leaning forward to
size the other up. ❝could it be? do i know you?❞
