I just saw your Maternal Pull ideas, and I can only imagine hero hero name is
The Maternal Hero: Mama Bear
"Midoriya? Do you have a name planned?" Midnight asked. Her face was sort of fixed, prompting giggles from the class as they remembered how Midoriya treated everyone around the school. Even the teachers, even Nezu were treated like children by her.
It was her Quirk, Mashiro knew. She was bound to act like a mother to people who needed it. And as she put it, when Mashiro asked, everyone who goes into heroics usually needs someone to care for them.
Then why, he pondered as he propped his cheek on his fist, staring at the front of the class as she walked towards it, giving a LOOK to Mineta, who guiltily wiped something off his board, did she not treat Mashiro as a child? She seemed pleased not to, admitting she didn't have many friends due to her Quirk. She was always drawn to care for people who lashed out at them for trying to mother them. Or they would take advantage of her need to be a mother.
He liked being an exception to a rule. He'd been treated as boring by everyone he knew for so long. However, Mashario also just... he wished he had some of her attention like the others did.
"My hero name is Mama Bear!" Midoriya said.
"Uho?" Mashiro jerked, staring in shock at the front of the class where Midoriya held up her name card. She met his eyes with a grin.
"Man, I wonder when we'll choose our names." Midoriya wondered. "I wonder what everyone will come up with?"
"I already decided Tailman would be mine," Mashiro admitted.
"Really? That's cool," Midoriya said as she ate some food from her bento. "Though I can see some people calling it lame."
"I thought about that, but... I like it. It's simple and true. I am a man with a tail."
"Ha! You have a point," Midoriya laughed with a nod. She ate some rice, keeping her chopsticks in her mouth for a minute in thought. "I like it."
"Thanks. Have you thought of yours?" Mashiro asked.
"Man," Midoriya laughed, eyes closed for a second. "I used to call myself Lady Might or Mighty Girl. I don't think those would fly."
"Ha! Probably not," Mashiro agreed, laughing. "How about Mama Bear?"
"Oh, that would be funny." Midoriya laughed.
"A friend suggested it," Midoriya grinned at Mashiro as she stood at the podium. Midnight smirked, shrugging.
"Can't argue it fits," the woman said with a dramatic shrug, where she lifted both hands up as she did, bending her elbows to fan her hands out to the side. She even tilted her head to the side in emphasis.
"No, you can't," Midoriya nodded before she jerked her head to Midnight. "Have you eaten anything today? Coffee doesn't count."
Midnight did a dramatic flinch, covering her face. "I had an early morning patrol! I haven't had time."
Mashiro blinked and laughed as the event occurred in front of him.
Maybe he had some attention after all.
