Two less fleshed-out characters in Fyldwyd

Kinneret (on the left) is a shapeshifter, her non-human forms being those of a mountain bluebird and a white horse. Mathias (on the right) is a vampire, also with various forms—aside from those shown, he can shapeshift into a bat, a horse, and a wolf.

more mathias bc he's been on my mind as of late (+ the staring brothers)

another drawing is underneath, but it contains blood and harsh colors so prepare. i'll also be explaining the context & just talking about some lore i've came up for him...

okay. anyways hello. welcome to my explaining, [pats the couch next to me]. take a seat.

mathias is a vampire, so it's not really uncommon for vampires to experience hunger for blood and well, it's something they need to consume to live.

i really enjoyed the idea of mathias being heavily religious and having like. guilt about the mere thought of his nature and what he needs to do to survive ─ he doesn't typically want to hurt anyone because, well, that'd make him a bad person. and no one wants to be a bad person.

he can't stand the sight of blood at times, usually people just think, "oh, he's sensitive to the sight of blood like some person are!" but it's... not typically that. it's because he gets the urge to feed into his nature, to let his desire for blood.

but mathias was never... really meant to be holy and the way he is from the beginning. he was born a monster, born someone who didn't have normal desires as humans. but he didn't really want to be this way, so he tries so hard to get away from that.

jokes on him, though, because he can't really escape his own nature and who he really is.
