1) Fandoms I read? I’m fairly varied! The ones I currently actively look for fic in are Fullmetal Alchemist and Tenipuri. But I enjoy reading fics from a tonne of fandoms, especially Harry Potter, His Dark Materials and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki Kun.
2) If I could request more of a certain type of fic... sort of answered this already, but long fics about character introspection and changing, that isn’t necessarily linked to romance, but I’m totally cool with romance too. Yanagi fics are always great for that, but I’d love to see more for other characters. Stream-of-consciousness is a really nice style of writing when done well.
3) Favourite all-time fic? Oh my god, that’s like impossible. Umm...ummm...I suppose from FMA, I will always love Swallows on a Beam, that one is really, really awesome and there isn’t a single thing wrong with it and it continues to be awesome as it updates. Tenipuri....probably Thus You Have Led Me Twice Over, by ataraxistence,I read that all in one go and the D1 and all of the rikkai elements were perfect! I also really like Sea of Hidden Dragon by Shiraume. As for Harry Potter, there’s a fic called Midnight by the Weasley Watch, which to this day is the best Ron I’ve ever read and all of the characters are just so true to themselves, despite the spelling mistakes here and there.
5) Angst or fluff...hmm. A year ago, the answer would have probably been fluff, half a year ago, probably angst, but I tend to swing in the middle now. Too much of one ruins a fic, I think. Balance is key. I like my angst punctuated by humour or cuteness.
8) Talk about ships I read? Oh gosh. I will read pretty much any ship. Some I prefer to avoid, like...pretty much every Tezuka ship that isn’t Tezuka/Yukimura, but I don’t have anything against those ships eityehr and will read them. What I thought was a NOTP was recently debunked by thelaziesthufflepuff, so I guess I don’t have any ships in tenipuri that I simply won’t read. I love Rikkai/Rikkai, though, and ships where characters are devoted to each other.
13) Types of AUs I love? Ones where they’re thrown into a different time-period/universe. I love historical AUs, I like fantasy or heavy sci-fi AUs. Space AUs get me hot and bothered. I love steampunk and science Aus and adventure and mystery things. Basically, the epic AUs, not like coffee shop or office AUs.
21) Do I read crackfic? I will! They’re not my first preference but sometimes, you just need a laugh, and if they’re in character, and still bizarre, that’s the ticket.
