Let's Discuss: Matiego

Is Matiego Canon? Is it queerbait? Do you think they deserved better? Do you ship them?

One of the questions some people in the fandom have been asking since ECNSE ended it's about Diego and Mateo's relationship because the finale episode wasn't clear of that. Today one of the writers of the story said this

Translation:

- So, It's Matiego queerbait?

- Not really

- So?

- Since the beginning we knew Matiego was endgame but for various reasons it (the relationship) ended up being vague

So, Let's add Matiego to the list of things ECNSE could have done better if it wasn't for Osorio and Televisa :))

My personal opinion on this is that I don't ship Matiego that hard, I like them and that's it, but seeing this is really sad. As I said I'm not fan of them together as I didn't like Mateo that much. I think the story of how they felt in love was rushed, as everything in ECNSE. I still think they definitely deserved better that the few scenes we got in the series, maybe that's the reason I really never got to ship them. But the fact that it was part of the story that we'll never see because of, I assume, Osorio and Televisa, it's really shitty. Matiego deserved better than that!!

Maybe we could have had two power mlm couples but now we'll never know

I understand most of the people would disagree with me as they were actually cute together but idk, my shipper never came out with them. (Don't kill me)

Juntos El Corazon Nunca Se Equivoca Finale

So by now I think we all have seen the ending of Juntos El Corazon Nunca Se Equivoca. Now, my thoughts/what I wanted to see in the finale (based on my list & see if it happened).

Matiego finally happened!! 

Not only was it confirmed but we also got this cute kiss scene! Let this ship called Matiego sail away ⛵ (huge thanks to @toomanyshipsxx for making me this gif 😊)

2. More kisses? Why yes!

We finally got that breath taking kiss we have been waiting for and I loved it! It was similar to the kiss from Mi Marido Tiene Mas Familia BUT WAY BETTER! Thank you for giving us another kiss we can talk about for a long time!

3. Special moment?

We really didn't get another "special moment" like the one in ep. 11 but we did get this cute little scene (couldn't find a gif so here is a picture instead-I took the screenshot myself)

4. The future?

Well we didn't see much of their future plans (As I would have liked) but we did see Ari getting back on stage & performing with Temo. As for Temo, he is becoming an activist.

They didn't get married but we did get a dream wedding. So maybe by season 2 (Juan Osorio did confirm more Aristemo) we will get that wedding, we all have been waiting for 👬

They haven't become dads yet but I hope they will one day ( in the future new season/novela).

As for the rest of the cast/characters. Well, I guess we will have to wait for the next season or next novela. But remember, there is mas familia coming!

La serie is now over but we are left with so many cute/lovable scenes. I think in a year or so, Aristemo will be back but better than before!

There is a great similarity between the storylines of Tincan (LBC) and Matiego (ECNSE)

For example, the personalities of "Can" and "Diego" with their ideals of protecting their friends, defending them. The funny thing here, is that there is a VERY similar situation between both series.

[Mateo bothers / Insults Aristóteles and Temo]

Diego: « But with me if you can face Mateo, if you mess with Temo and Aristóteles, you mess with me too»

[Tin insults and offends the relationship of Ae and Pete]

Can: « You can say shit about me, but not of my friends»

They are small things that make me believe that with Matiego we will have a tincan 2.0

Another point that leaves me surprised is the COLOSSAL similarity between Tin and Mateo.

That is, we have Tin at the beginning Trying to destroy the relationship of Ae and Pete.

And we have Mateo trying the same thing with Aristóteles and Temo.

Ok, The personalities of Mateo and Tin are identical. On the one hand we have Mateo, who is someone cold, lonely, arrogant, and all those adjectives to describe a troubled and rich boy.

Tin is literally described by the title of "Prince of ice" because of how cold it is with everyone, as he does not allow anyone to approach him, does not trust anyone.

And I'm really excited that these similarities are so impressive and that the Ship of Matiego is a parallel to my beloved Tincan.

I'm waiting to see Mateo and Diego giving each other such nice kisses as Tin & Can did.
