Matilde Fidalgo departs

Manchester City Football Club can confirm that defender Matilde Fidalgo has joined S.L Benfica.

The Portuguese international joined City in May 2019 from SC Braga and made five appearances in all competitions during the 2019/20 season.

The 26-year-old now returns to her homeland however having agreed terms with the Campeonato Nacional Feminino outfit.

All associated with Manchester City would like to thank Matilde for her efforts during her time at the Club and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
