The important players of PSG : Pauleta

Pauleta (his real name being Pedro Miguel Carreiro Resendes) whose nickname was “L’Aigle des Açores” (and not “l’avion des Açores” like PNL said) because of his celebration that made him look like an eagle, is a Portuguese n°9 who’s played for PSG during the 2000′. He’s still to this day considered one of the greatest player of our club and of Ligue 1.

Not only he used to be our Captain be he also used to be our greatest scorer of all time with 109 goals. He later gave this title to Ibrahimovic (156 goals) who himself gave the title to Cavani (190 goals). He had the reputation to be humble and respectful, caring, but also a true leader who never failed to tell what he had in his mind to the club in the moments of needs (aka when PSG almost felt in Ligue 2). To this day he’s still one the most loved player of the club.
