This is an adult male Ostrich I met on a farm in South Africa last year. He’s doing a mating dance for me here. Funnily enough, researcher Charles Paxton did a study and found that farmed Ostriches did this dance commonly to humans — and wild ones did not. His research concluded that yes, the Ostriches ARE looking at humans like that. So yeah, birds think I’m sexy.
