Idea
Megatron has an experiment he wants to try. So he gets Shockwave over to his base to make something (Dark Energon) to get a few test subjects. After getting his lab rats (Deadlock, Wasp, and Blades) he starts trying to gain their trust. After that he decides he wants to starts preparing for his experiments, and of course he needs the proper materials! He splits up his little lab rats to get the proper materials. Luckily they're all on the same planet: Lector Nion, home of the Maximals and Predacons. Megatron only needs a few things.. a few living things that is. They each need to grab a certain animal that Megatron assigned them. Deadlock retrieved a White Tiger Maximal. Blades retrieved a Peregrine Falcon Maximal. Wasp retrieved a Panther or Snake Predacon (you thought they were gonna grab Waspinator hehehehe). But they also had to grab their respective animals (either dead or alive) and then go. Of course their prey won't go down without a fight so they do that and carry on. They're all confused as to what Megatron could be planning, but they decided to push it aside for later. Oh poor naive children. They get back and take the prisoners and test subjects to Shockwave's lab. Cheetor and Foxtrot saw all of this (because at this time they were being spies and trying to slow down the Cons) and decided to investigate. Until a certain second in command stops them, but back to Vipers. After they deliver their "gifts" they're told not to mention this to anyone and that Megatron will summon them when needed. And then they go on their way. Now this would be before they reveal themselves to the Autobots so after this event the Maximals and Dinobots join the Autobots (Alpha, Beta and Rescue Bots already banned together) and then after awhile they reveal themselves and THEN after "fighting", more like dodging and yelling, Megatron calls the Vipers to Shockwave's lab. Cheetor and Foxtrot sneak inside to see what the secret project is. Megatron offers them a proposition: to take part in Project Predaking. Megatron explains he had this project in mind for awhile and that its purpose is to make his army stronger to defeat Optimus and his army. He was hoping that the Vipers would participate in his project. The Vipers are shocked, confused, and scared.

"I will give you time. Until then you have a mission briefing. I will summon you when time's up."

So they leave, kind of in disbelief. Change ourselves? Let alone to a Predacon? Blades is actually kind of excited? Still cautious because he, like the others, are unsure about their roles in this war they're stuck in. Deadlock is hesitant on the idea. He understands some sacrifices have to be made, but this? Losing his Cybertronian nature? And possibly what little of himself he has left? No thanks. Wasp just outright disproves of it for the same reasons as Deadlock. They do not like the idea of possibly sacrificing something so vital to them for something they don't understand. They would much rather just run far away from all of this and have the war sort itself out.. but they can't. They made attachments to certain people and Wasp doesn't want to leave them and they're all kind of stuck here thank to Buckethead. Plus they'd much rather not have this "change" on anyone else. So, no thanks but, might be forced to do it. So after speculation a little they go to the mission briefing and continue. Mission goes like normal, trying to hit their targets as the said targets try to convince them their "friends" or whatever they call it, but the entire time their distracted. Their minds are elsewhere. The Autobots notice and try bringing it up. (They have an idea thanks to their spies) The Vipers are just freaking.

And "thankfully", they need to talk their problems out, they get away and finish whatever the mission was and get back. Yadayada after a few days they make a decision and Megatron, coincidently, summons to know their decision. The door locks behind them and Megatron asks them if they've made their decision. They say they have and they say they will not do the Project. Megatron, pissed, fucking forces them to take the yellow liquid of change or whatever and they start changing into their respective animals: Deadlock into a White Tiger, Blades into a Peregrine Falcon, and Wasp into a Panther or Snake (I don't know which one sue me). Aaaaaand that's all I got. This is an idea but, whenever I get an idea and start typing I just continue until I either run out of ideas or I force myself to stop. Sooooo, disclaimer: this is just an idea! It might not actually happen! I just wanted to share the idea and I got carried away.
