Ahhh yes a fellow Light/Matsuda shipper! Sorry I just love the idea of Matsuda being completely head-over-heels for Light but also being very confused by the mixed signals he's receiving as Light alternates between a) trying to figure out if swaying Matsuda to believe in Kira's actions will be an advantage and b) ignoring him entirely. sorry i just there's like NO ONE else who ships this in a fandom that's already pretty scattered to the wind

YES! I’m not alone with this! I can’t believe there’s hardly any art about them! There’s LxMatsuda (not that I’m complaining, I ship them too), but almost no LightxMatsuda! I mean, it’s not a good ship, but it does make sense!
