What would you say if someone told you that you don't need to go to the gym to get strong? What if someone told you the gym is actually toxic for long-term health?
Would you call "bullshit"? Did you know that 50 years ago, gyms as we know them today didn't exist?
What if someone told you that when the human body is provided with the proper "ingredients", it will actually build itself?
This is what I'm telling you. If you don't believe me, ask any of my friends how rapidly I was able to change my body composition by changing my environment.
In fact, working out in gyms can be toxic because we are intentionally increasing mitochondrial respiration to get a health benefit, but our mitochondria are designed in and need full spectrum light to make the proper free radical signals for growth and long-term health.
Working out under fake light can definitely take the energy you have and make your muscles bigger, but it is at the expense of energy (mitochondria) from your brain. Choosing to make big muscles without the energy to back it up can make us function more like our ape ancestors, who evolutionarily invested more energy (mitochondria) in their muscles than in their brains.
Also, the chronic blue light stimulus causes pregnenolone (hormone precursor) to be made into cortisol (strss hormone) instead of sex hormones, lack of which decreases fertility and is associated with decreased health and longevity.
So, save your money and start fueling your cells with what they need: full-spectrum sunlight. If you do this properly (which is difficult in a most artificially-lit lifestyle), anyone can get far stronger with the most minimal exercise.
