I should have told you. I told myself I was protecting you, but that was only part of it. I was ashamed I wasn't there when you needed me, but I've tried to be there every day since.

Haunted Hotel opening animation.
Personally I think that if the priest does make an appearance in Haunted Hotel, I certainly don't think we'll see him in s2. If Haunted Hotel follows a similar writing process like Rick and Morty, he's gonna appear much later in the show.
For example in R&M, Rick Prime, who was an important character haunting the narrative, made his first appearance ever in s3.
While I wouldn't necessarily say that the priest haunts the narrative the same way Rick Prime did, it's still very early in the show, and it looks like it has more seasons planned than just two (that is, unless, if Netflix pulls an Inside Job with it, hahahahahaha). So if I'm correct, the priest will appear much later in Haunted Hotel. I think the most info we'll get about him in s2, if we do, will be something Abaddon mentions. And maybe if Matt Roller is generous enough, we'll see at the end of s2 a vague figure of the priest staring at the hotel.
Anyway, that's all, I just wanted to share my predictions/theories regarding the priest and his writing. <3
Can you guy's do me a favor? Give Haunted Hotel a watch when it releases tomorrow. There are some clips floating around yt and it's actually pretty fun.
And don't hit ne with that 'it's just going to get canceled anyway' crap. It will for sure get canceled if you don't even bother to tune in. At least give it a fighting chance.
Not crazy about the human designs (they're not bad, it's just been done before), but the ghosts and demon's look pretty cool. I'll give this show a chance.
I'm honestly surprised how I haven't seen any Haunted Hotel and Rick and Morty crossover fanarts tbh.
The priest from haunted hotel is my comfort character
