Matt Day is an Australian actor who is best known for playing Luke Ross in the TV series A Country Practice.

            Matt Day has appeared in: Muriel’s Wedding (1994), Love and Other Catastrophes (1996), Dating the Enemy (1996), Kiss or Kill (1997), Doing Time for Patsy Cline (1997), A Country Practice (1989-1993), Underbelly: The Golden Mild (2010), Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo (2011), The Outlaw Michael Howe (2013), and Wolf Creek (2017).

            Day was born in Melbourne, Australia, he moved to the United States with his father when he was aged 11. His father was a newspaper correspondent, it was in America where he became interested in acting. His mother is an English teacher and took him around Europe as a child. Matt Day is married and has two children and lives in Sydney.
