He’s Korean, brought up by Korean parents in a Korean household. He should know how to fit within this society and not stand out. Maybe the reason behind him not assimilating that well was the fact that he was the only child, or maybe after years of trying to blend in within the society he clearly stood out in made him turn the opposite way. Needless to say, now that he’s in Seoul, he stood out just as much as he once did in Newcastle though this time by choice.
Dante’s hard to miss when he’s out on the street -- silver hair and eccentric clothes (and Baby Shark -- the dwarf chowchow walking by his side to complete the picture), just as if he was there to provoke negative comments among the conservative people of South Korea. Truth was, it was his way of dealing with the past and with the presence alike and most of the times he paid a total of zero attention to what they were saying, earplugs in throughout the duration of his walk.
Today was no different. Shark pulled him towards the dog park (to meet with the gang of his friends and smell some love letters left around all over the lane) and as his dog played around, Daniel sat down on the bench and relaxed, letting his eyes close for a moment but making sure not to let go of the leash -- he trusted Shark but not to the point of letting him roam freely.

she’s been awake for hours, eyes locked on the gentle waves that rolled and pushed on the sea before her. the disbelief of what had happened hadn’t passed the woman just yet, and to an extent, kendra’s happy about it. thinking about everything mean that she’d have to consider the lives that were lost, the panic of the plane crash they’d gone through, the fact that she had NO IDEA where she was. instead, she sits under the heat, trying to maintain her breathing. and even when the other stirs beside her, she says nothing, throat hoarse from swallowing copious amounts of saltwater, everything about her felt wrong. she didn’t want to think about the person who sat beside her, someone she hated and told them so multiple times, but now what were they supposed to do? she keeps her eyes forward, sniffling slightly as she wiped away tears. ‘ ... i haven’t tried to do a perimeter or anything, but i’m pretty sure we’re alone. ’
❝ before i tell you anything, ❞ the demon said with determination. ❝ you have to tell me how you found out that you were immortal and what you mean by that. many call themselves immortal but there are different types of it. ❞ he hummed softly as his eyes studied the figure in front of him. // @matteria
