CONGRATS, MATT & CAMILLA ON THE BIRTH OF YOUR BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY, LUCAS MATTHEW ALAN! ♡

On Tuesday, August 25th 2020, Camilla announced on her IG she gave birth to a healthy and beautiful baby boy named LUCAS.

In a exclusive interview with PEOPLE!, she revealed how was giving birth during a pandemic. She said: "It was "much more stressful" this time around considering the COVID-19 crisis. I absolutely had more daily anxiety.Not only did I have concerns over contracting COVID and what that could potentially mean for my pregnancy, I was also worried about things like my husband not being able to be present with me during the birth. It changed a lot of the experience for me this time around. One example being Matt wasn't allowed to come to ultrasounds, so we missed out on sharing those moments together."

About the fact she'd "have to wear a mask in labor, she said: "It just wasn't something I had thought about and when I found out I would have to, I cried. I completely understood the importance of wearing one, I just dreaded it. Labor is so physically exhausting I couldn't imagine adding a mask."

For other moms having a similar fear, Camilla assures that she "honestly forgot" that she had the mask on during most of the experience. "I was in labor 15-plus hours and so much else was happening that my mind was elsewhere. I didn't feel like ripping it off but I was thankful they allowed us to remove them for a short time to capture some after-birth pictures without the masks on."

Camilla also revealed she was "frustrated" at first "for feeling overwhelmed so often" and "feeling so much anxiety" amid the pandemic, but she wants to advise other women "to be kind" to themselves: "It's okay to have bad days. It's not just okay — it's completely understandable!"

This time was just another example of feeling like we could lean on each other and there was unwavering support. Sometimes it was as simple as him hugging me into him and saying, 'We got this.' "

— ABOUT THEIR BABY BOY, LUCAS: "Lucas was the only boys' name my husband and I ever really liked and had in fact "topped our boys' name list back when I was pregnant with Hayden. This time, we were also convinced I was having a girl again because my morning sickness was so bad, so we were already thinking of new girls' names. When we found out we were having a boy, we knew instantly he would be Lucas! His middle name is my husband's [first name], Matthew."

— ABOUT BIG SISTER HAYDEN:: "Hayden couldn't be more excited to have a baby brother, too. She would tickle my belly when I was pregnant and think she was tickling the baby. When he arrived, she was so giddy. She couldn't stop kissing his head and saying how cute he was. We were relieved, as you just never know with a toddler how they may react to things. The day we brought him home will always be one of my favorite memories ever." ♡

It’s official!

On Saturday, Camilla Luddington – who plays Dr. Jo Wilson on the long-running ABC drama Grey’s Anatomy – and longtime boyfriend Matthew Alan – who most recently starred in Hulu’s Castle Rock – tied the knot in an intimate California coastline ceremony in front of 70 of their closest friends and family (including former Grey’s costar Jessica Capshaw!), PEOPLE exclusively confirms.

“The thing that I always said to Matt is that I just wanted to see the ocean,” the actress, 35, star exclusively told PEOPLE prior to the wedding. “That was my one thing.”

“We’re just ready to do the damn thing,” she added. “We kind of already feel married because we have a 2-year-old. But there’s something romantic to us about solidifying that family unit by having the ceremony and actually having Hayden present. To be honest, I’m just excited to get into that new normal of married life.”

Their wedding planner, Karen Waldron of Ampersand Entertainment Light, tells PEOPLE, “The couple wanted romantic elegance with lots of natural elements, set against crisp white walls mixed with wood tables, hanging rattan light fixtures, an abundance of white and green floral, that kept it beautifully classic and fresh,” adding, “Touches of gold accents were mixed into the tables for just that splash of glam.”

The bride, who wore a stunning couture gown by Mira Zwillinger with handmade embroidery, walked down the aisle to The Temper Trap’s “Sweet Disposition” – a song that holds a special meaning to the couple.

“In 2008 we went to a Temper Trap concert together,” she said. “It was our first date!”

The English actress, who has done voice work as Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider video games, revealed to her followers in 2017 that she and her beau welcomed their daughter, Hayden, into the world.

“We have a new great love in our lives… our sweet baby girl…Hayden,” the new mom captioned a black-and-white clip of the pair with the newborn.

And in January 2018, the couple announced that they were engaged.

“Sooo this happened on New Year’s Eve,” Luddington, 34, captioned three photos that showcased her diamond engagement ring.

“I’m not sure I even let Matt get through his proposal before I started yelling YES YES YES!! Of course it was a yes!” she wrote and quipped that their daughter, gave her stamp of approval: “Also… Hayden approves.. 😉 💍✨✨✨.“
