Final result after Second and higher temperature Firing.

The combination of glazes created new layers of new colours and the LAVA glaze created its craters, just disappointed I didn't have time to take better macro images, but overall very happy with the final result.

AND BREATHE!! Here is my Tree of Mythological Life. A world of it's own where mythological and legendary creatures and characters can live peacfully. All done now and in the lap of the gods, and examiner's. 🤞🤞 Went in for a brief touch up this morning 🌄 I can't believe this is end to my hectic year as a mature art student. The course, the tutors and my fellow students have done so much for me this past year. I am ending this course with more self confidence and more opportunities than i could ever have imagined. Icebreakers... don’t you just love them?

Hi... my name is G. and I’m a non-trad/mature student at a New Zealand university, currently in my second year of a double-major Bachelor of Commerce (International Business and Accounting). After finishing high school a long time ago I went straight into work in the hospitality industry and never went back to formal education until starting university in 2018. These past two years have been an incredible learning experience, both academically and personally, which I would love to share with you all.

So I decided to start this whole ‘nontradstudyblr’ thing after feeling a bit under-represented in the studyblr/studygram/studytube community. Don’t get me wrong, I have a lot of love for this community, but sometimes being a mature student can feel a bit lonely and I just wanted somewhere to share a bit of my experience with my fellow (and potential) #maturestudents #nontraditionalstudents #nontradstudents. I hope to start some awesome conversations and create a little support hub for all of us nontrads out there.

Hi, Studyblr’s!

My name is Amy. I’m actually a mature student, kind of pretending not to be. I’m studying an A-Level in law, and an Open University degree in French and German, with the hopes of going to a brick university next year!

I also work a full time job, so juggling all of this and having a social life (haha, what social life?) can be very, very difficult but I manage. I decided to create this blog to help me motivate myself and hopefully others.
