My local library gives away donated books (and CDs and magazines) every first Saturday of the month. $2 for every bag you jam full of books.

- My Senior english class read Into the Wild instead of Frankenstein, but my friends in other classes really liked it.
◇ The Picture of Dorian Gray

◇ The Library of Greek Mythology

◇ ZYZZYVA: Vol. XXV11 NO. 93 Winter 2011

my desk seems so organized lately all because I haven’t stayed in there for a long time. I’ve been sick for a week now and I can’t drag myself to work and study for our exam : (
I just wish i feel better tomorrow so I can catch up with my readings for Pedia 🤧
August 18th, 2023 — 2/100 days of productivity
Last day of holiday. I am so happy about it. I really am not a sea girlie. I prefer the mountains. I am really happy to be back home and be able to study properly. I still haven't decided if on Sunday I should keep studying Medieval History or spend the day writing the second chapter of my thesis. I will have to ponder and decide...unless you guys have any suggestions ✨
- readings on crossdressing in performance and my cute doggo mug🐶☕️

Long time no see :)
Hello everyone!✨
I know I haven’t posted in a while, but it’s finally summer all over again, and I hope I will be able to post more for some time!
First of all, I want to thank you – yes you, dear reader – and the small, humble band of followers I have gathered on this really, really cool website (seriously, Tumblr users are another level of culturally sophisticated, though often in ways not recognized by society). Thanking all of you for your reblogs, likes, and small messages of support in the comments. Truth be told, I hadn’t posted in so long because I essentially gave up, thinking I was working so hard for nothing, but looking through your supportive comments and gestures gave me the motivation to get back on track. I really hope I stick to it, too, because I have learnt so much.
So, some updates (though no one asked for them haha).
I completed my second year at university, and am now doing my summer internship. This time two years ago, I was preparing for a medical degree in my home country, and I was trying my absolute best to try and love that subject, from trying to make aesthetic notes (which I subsequently didn’t remember) to keeping this blog alive. Well, long story short, I had to start therapy because of all my previous university rejections and the struggle that was the preparation for the medical entrance exam. But, I applied for and enrolled in a programme for psychology here, and I absolutely loved it (I turned down writing the medical entrance exam because I was, and still am, so happy here) and have been loving it since. I applied to and got accepted to other universities abroad, but I decided to stay home, and think about universities abroad for Master’s, though the acceptance letters were definitely a confidence boost.
Anyways, I have learnt so, so, much and experienced even more in the past two years. I’m much more mature, and definitely much happier with where I’ve ended up, choosing to live in the present rather than regretting what could have been. Yes, I would have made so much more money as a doctor than a psychologist, but I wouldn’t have loved it as much. Yes, going abroad would have been exhilarating, but I wouldn’t be close to my friends and family.
Tl; Dr. I’m back, and I hope I continue with this account because I really do like posting here :) Thanks again for all the support!
