I always love the look on a preything's face when they're staring up into the open maw of a pred, watching how their teeth shine and glitter, how their tongue idly moves, and how there are strings of saliva in their mouth, dripping down from their teeth.

Studying every sharp tooth in the pred's mouth. Noticing the way their lips and skin glints. Taking note of the color of the pred's mouth, and how that shade quickly descends into darkness as they look deeper into that cavernous maw... it's almost inviting, in a way.

The prey doesn't know whether to be scared. Frightened. Disgusted. Should they be intrigued? Alarmed, terrified?

They know that they're potentially in danger, but... they can't move, and they can't stop staring into the abyss that is the pred's throat. The prey can only sit there, completely awed into silence.

There's only one word the prey can think of to describe this moment: sublime.
