another MAWS rant because i have theories

jon's from another universe, not the future, right??

like the timeline here makes no sense. from the flashbacks from jon, that was the battle clark was gonna die in, but doesnt that mean lois needs to be pregnant now? baby jon in that flashback had a full head of hair, he definitely wasnt newborn. and the implication is that that was when clark died right?

but jon did change something?

or maybe he didnt, because lois now knows his name was Jon Kent, so the fact that new 'furure' lex calls him Jon Lane, and so either smth happened to change that, he maybe hes ended up in an entirely different reality?

basically either this is a multiverse plotline in disguise (and maybe jon is actually a kon varient and we'll get real kon? im not coping well with the lack of kon) or this show has managed to create glaring plot holes without realizing

Amalgamation, Separation

I've seen everyone's comments on superboy/Jon that he's an amalgamation of Conner and Jon and given how he looks and his name and personality yeah that is true. But I've had this theory since seeing this:

We see Jon, at least in the opening, disappearing a lot of people even myself think it's because now that Jon has stopped Hank from bringing about his future the future Jon came from has cease to exist and he will go alone with it.

I've actually seen time traveling other TV shows and different methods of how it works

1: once you change something in the past the future that was their changes any old ones ceases to exist but if you come from it you ceases along with it.

2: it's possible to change the future from the past but not cease to exist (example: Bart Allen from The Young Justice TV series changed his future but didn't cease to exist.)

I don't know a lot of methods but I do know the usual one is changing something in the past causes your future to cease and you cease along with it. if this is to be the likely scenario and Jon disappears because he changed his future then it might be possible for us to see Conner and Jon in another season.

The separation part of this theory is this with Jon changing his future and Clark and Lois knowing about it and overall changing the timeline possible that the amalgamation Superboy (that's what I'm calling him) we'll see and we'll see Jon and Conner as separate characters not as amalgamation.

time in between

due to a conversation i had with @jackdoe it got me thinking about this

this photo that jon has of him, clark and lois specifically when it was taken cuz according to jon in his future both his parents are dead leaving me to wonder when it was taken. first Clark and lois don't look any different in the future to how they look now implying (at least for me) that they are both still in their 20's or just barely entering thier 30's. second the picture itself looks old but that could possibly be damage from jon's apocalyptic future.

possibly jon coming back to the past sped things up and next episode is the point where clark is suppose to die from jon's future.

conclusion: i think this photo might have been taken 4 or 5 or 6 years in the future. meaning i think clark's death wasn't suppose to happen until much later after it was taken and like i said jon's arrival sped what was suppose to happen much later to happen right now.

another theory of mine is that clark and kara manage to beat hank the first time but comes back more powerful later, to much for clark and kara and kills them.

clone but not in the way you think

I have a horrible theory. Basically it's about Hank henshaw AKA cyborg Superman and Superboy aka Conner Kent. To get to the point I think that Superboy might be a clone of Hank henshaw.

Why I think this is because of episode 1 when we found out about how the government is using Kryptonian technology and other Kryptonian things to create clones and Luther even tampered with that as well maybe not on screen but possibly off it that and his other iterations too where I'm going with this is Superboy maybe a clone but he's not just a clone of Superman AKA Clark he could also be a clone of Hank henshaw I mean just look at their skin color plus their eyes

It's the exact same match. Well I did make this theory I really hope I'm wrong.

maws superboy possible personality theory 2

I already made a possible personality theory about superboy/Conner but now given that an official trailer came out along with him appearing in it I want to expand more on my theory of his possible personality. As I covered last time given what most of the comics and other TV shows and movies where superboy/conner appears in he's seen as a: arrogant show off, A punk rocker, a cocky teenager, an angsty teen, ect. And most of the fan base thinks that this version of Superboy/Conner might be the same but in all honesty I think there might be more to this variant of superboy/conner and what people expect. And I think that way given this:

in the trailer we see Conner interacting with Lois and Clark. And doing so in a way I would call: Child-like. He asked them what do they do, what's their favorite movie and Clark why he wears glasses all really fast bolting from Lois to Clark and he even grabbed's Clark's glasses like a little kid wanting to see something.

Where I'm going with this is that maybe instead of the usual personality other variants of Superboy/Conner has this one might have a few of those qualities but will be childlike at the core of his personality. There is actually a reason why I think this: his clone background even though he's got the body and appearance of a teenager him being a clone with, what I'm assuming, little interaction with others he's got the mind of a newborn or a child and this shows in the trailer and his interaction with both Clark and Lois and even his actions with how he's doing it. A page I found a while back also mentioned that he had an endless stream of questions for Clark this could imply that he's curious and in a childlike way about it.

Maws superboy/ Conner sticking theory

I get the feeling, like with most superboy's/ Conner's, when they meet Superman/Clark for the first time they don't know that Clark and superman are the same person and for me that's reinforced by this:

In the trailer superboy/ Conner asks Clark and Lois lots of questions about themselves implying that he doesn't know them. I have a theory that he may not know about them but knows of them (I've even seen everybody's theory of this version of Superboy / Conner being their son from the future or my theory of him being from another side of the multiverse) possibly due to being a clone and not really knowing much about anything but has a encounter with them and knows about them from their work for the daily planet or another source and he knows that both Clark and Lois are friends of Superman. I get the feeling like every other superboy's/Conner's he wants to meet Superman but doesn't know how so he decides to stick close to both Clark and Lois hoping that if he hangs around them enough it might lead into Superman. He does so in comical ways ( because this show can be very funny) but ultimately harmless like: crashing at their house, literally walking next to them and even my favorite theory becoming a teenaged intern at the daily planet much to their dismay superboy/Conner (this is my personal bit) when in his civilian identity refers to both of them as his sensei's.

maws Conner Kent/superboy possible personality theory

seeing it's how it's a new year and we have confirmation that this year my adventures with Superman is going to come out I'd like discuss what I think will be maws Conner Kent's/Superboy personality

(sidenote: I've only ever seen Conner/superboy from the DC animated TV shows and movies I've never actually read any of the comics but I do know some things here and there so if there's anything any of you would like to add feel free.)

And I'm going to use this for a general idea:

The leaked image from one of San Diego's comic cons events that showed the image of maws Superboy. Based on what's seen from the leak I theorize that Conner/superboy might be, like other iterations, The stereotype of teenager, impulsive, adventurous, show off, cool guy phase. However given maws tended to give the characters slightly different personalities I assume that Conner might be: like Clark good natured, kind and dorky. I also like to think that because of his nature as a clone and because, like most iterations of him, will struggle a lot because of his clone nature he'll also be, shy, quiet, a bit reserved and conflicted. Ultimately until we get some more information, like another leak or a trailer, it's really hard to say but I do genuinely theorize ,based on the picture, that this might be Maws Conner's personality
