03/03/11: Max Echo & Bookz (First City Records)

Max Echo runs with the Don't Sleep NYC crew and the illustrious First City Records. He's an amazing DJ and a really talented producer (check his Lewisham EP on his own First City). 

He brought along fellow First City cohort Bookz, a grime DJ of the first caliber.  This is a really great UK'd out DJ set featuring originals and bass of the local and across-the-pond variety.  

And believe me, you know i'm not exaggerating when I say I like these guys--I retired saying "don't sleep" during my Math + Science mic breaks (a 5 year tradition) for these DSNYC fellaz.  THATS LOVE.
