Today is a bittersweet day in Portland. Hundreds gather at Holladay Park to say their final goodbyes to the type 1 Max, the first model of Max ever in service. Entering service in 1986, the type one Max outlived its initial expiry date by ten years, spending every moment of its 40 year life serving the greater Oregon area.
