The wonderful Starry Night, Maxi Cob of the year 2015.

After winning the class at HOYS this year Robert decided that he would retire Basil. He completed his lap of honour, stopped him in the middle of the arena, dismounted and led him out to a standing ovation.

I had the privilege of being there (See link below). The retirement was very moving and took us all by surprise. Sarah Walker brought him back into the ring on Sunday for the Supreme Championship and now he will spend his retirement hunting.
