There’s a misconception running wild among mortals, on the topic of Life and Death.
They say Death is cruel, inescapable. They say She lurks in the darkness of every crevice, every nook, waiting and watching for the opportunity to strike. They say She’s heartless, that She has no care for the mortals She reaps, the bonds She destroys with the fall of Her scythe.
They say Life is kind, beautiful. They say He’s generous, for He created their world and all that it contains. The power of Life flows in them, and so they are Life, and so He must be good to his core because that is what humanity is.
The Universe watches. The Universe listens, and chuckles at the foolishness of mortals.
They do not know that Death is kind. They do not know that She only takes those whose time has come, gentle and soothing only like a Mother can be. They do not know of Her smile, of Her eyes, of Her reign made of peace and stars and constellations in the far beyond. They remain clueless of the countless souls She has reunited, through space, through time, of the people who look up at her and see the end of all pains, and the promise for rest, finally fulfilled.
And Life? Life hides behind a curtain, an illusion of greatness. Because Life is cruel, heartless, takes what He wants, and cares not for the mortals He created. Life drifts by and watches in amusement, makes of the world His chessboard and the humans He encounters His Pawns.
Life is a child and the world is His playground. Death is a mother who wishes she could do more, and makes of her reign a safe haven for the souls Life discards.
Death is kind, and Life is heartless. The Universe watches, uncaring, and just like that, unchanged, unbothered, it goes on.

Hc that I couldn’t fit in: limbo is a prison Life creates for the mortals he favors the most, a place where he can keep “playing” with them even after death. Mumza is not happy at all about it but there isn’t much she can do if DreamXD gets a hold of their souls first, not unless she wants to risk destroying the fbric of reality with the fight that would inevitably follow.
