              FIRST DAY IN A NEW SCHOOL --- isabelle never had an issue fitting in, but riverdale high was filled with mystery and drama . . that much she already knew thanks to her mother. it had been a rough year for the female --- prior to losing her youngest brother in a freak accident a few years back, her father was murdered in cold blood just three months ago. izzy’s mother maryse, grew up in riverdale but had moved out of town once isabelle's oldest brother alec was born. now they were back . . her mother was hellbent on it, which isabelle found very suspicious as to why. 

high heel boots clicked down the hall as isabelle walked to her first class. leather jacket on, while her silver serpent bracelet shined up like a new penny. the female was used to turning heads everywhere she went, riverdale high was no different. she took a seat in the back of the class while whispers could be heard all around her. ‘who is that?’ ‘i heard her mother used to go here..’ ‘she’s freaking hot.’ ‘i heard her dad and brother were murdered.’ eyes rolled back at all the gossip before locking eyes with a dark haired boy who was eyeing her serpent bracelet. ‘you don’t strike me as the type that’s interested in jewelry.’ she teased.

after watching season 2 of riverdale, i either need to throw isabelle into that plot or make an oc because i’m obsessed <333 just followed so many riverdale blogs, love me !

FINDING OUT ABOUT her father’s murder was one of the hardest tragedies izzy ever had to cope with --- it came really close to max’s death. a few months passed but still the wound was fresh, and the female was having an extremely hard time believing that robert was truly gone. she and alec decided to pay a visit to the la institute .. they had also lost a loved one on that awful day. livia blackthorn --- she was so young.

          she looked LIKE A PRINCESS IN A FAIRY TALE, waiting at the top of her tower for someone to ride up and rescue her. not that traditional princess behavior was like isabelle at all. isabelle with her whip and boots and knives would chop anyone who tried to pen her up in a tower into pieces, build a bridge out of the remains, and walk carelessly to freedom, her hair looking ( f a b u l o u s ) the entire time.

        its  sad  to  say  oliver  is  used  to  cold  hard  stares  &  unsolicited  judgement ,  but  just  because  he's  aware  of  the  BAD  REPUTATION  his  parents  left  behind  before  their  passing ,  doesn’t  mean  alec’s  harsh  words  don’t  S T I N G .  he  takes  them  though ,  every  single  one  of  them  like  a  punch  in  the  gut ;  threats  to  stay  away  from  his  sister ,  reminding  him  that  no  one  really  TRUSTS  him .  a  younger  oliver  would’ve  perhaps  retaliated  with  equal  burning  words ,  but  he  stands  there ,  in  the  middle  of  the  sparring  floor ,  holding  an  emerald  compound  bow  in  his  hand  as  if  it  was  the  only  thing  standing  between  him  &  his  potential  loss  of  temper .  he  wasn’t  an  angry  man  without  reason  &  he  wasn’t  about  to  start  now  either .

      “  i  agree … ”  it  probably  takes  alec  aback ,  his  sincere  admission ,  even  though  his  words  are  only  partially  true .  “ i  agree  that  my  family  didn’t  epitomize  morality  &  compassion ,  i  agree  that  maybe  i’ll  NEVER  be  able  to  make  up  for  my  parents  mistakes  &  the  pain  they  brought  to  innocent  down-worlders ,  &  maybe  you’re  right  about  isabelle  deserving  someone  better … but  all  i  can  do  is  extend  my  hand  as  a  peace  offering  &  hope  that  someday  people  realize  that  just  because  i  share  my  parent’s  last  name  doesn’t  mean  i  share  their  ideals .”

    isabelle had never been good at KINDNESS and compassion --- no, the female was spoiled, b i t c h y, and standoffish. however, ever since losing her little brother, izzy saw life in a different way. loving fiercely, being open minded, and kind felt so much better than acting like a cold hearted emotionless brat. it took a while to get there though . . . when max DIED, izzy shut herself out from the world. blaming herself and feeling vulnerable at best. however, instead of letting that destroy her, isabelle used it as a way to better herself and grow. 

    it had been a while since the female had CONNECTED with a man on an emotional level. usually it was all about that physical interaction. ollie was different --- he was a good man who was misjudged because of the reputation that his parent’s had left behind before dying. isabelle sympathized with him because her parent’s too had been part of valentine’s circle. that did not mean alec and her were untrustworthy or unable to abide by the l a w. so when overhearing her brother belittle the man who she had come to care for, isabelle could not hide her outrage. ‘alec!!’ the brunette stormed into the sparring room and stood in front of him. ‘that’s enough. have you forgotten that our parent’s were a part of valentine’s circle too? you cannot JUDGE him on behalf of his parent’s actions. he has shown nothing but loyalty to us.’ alec said nothing --- he only shot oliver a dirty look before walking out of the training room. isabelle turned her attention over to the other male. ‘i am so sorry about that. please don’t mind alec, he’s s k e p t i c a l about any new comers.’
