i'm gonna bring this back over to muses actually on this blog lol. so max!!! when this blog started, it was max, mal, ash, and nicky! which is absolutely batshit to think about given how many muses it has now. but i adore max. she's changed a lot since i first started writing her but definitely in good ways. she's more... righteous? at this point. like she's not necessarily a good person. but she's not bad either. very willing to do terrible things for good reasons. also very much just living her life as a vampire and not ashamed of who and what she is. started swearing because she was told it was unladylike and wasn't going to let that stop her. tbh just an all around badass and someone i'd like to be a little more like.
.........okay wilder doesn't want to be on this list and i don't want to put him here but that's like. exactly why he should be here tbh? he's just awful. wilder doesn't give a fuck about hurting anyone's feelings and like. it's actually part of what makes him fun to write. he's never once hesitated to say the most hurtful thing in any conversation. he doesn't hold himself back. he doesn't care. and there are layers to that and he's messy and sad, but he's also just mean. and he's always been mean. losing everything just made it easier for him to stop giving a shit about pretending not to be.
alright shifting off the blog again but i feel like i gotta yell about michael for a second bc. again, he's one of my first ten muses. and he's also come so far from where i first started him. i originally thought he'd be just an antagonist but that's such an underestimation of who he is. he's complicated and layered and he doesn't agree with most of the other angels on things, but he loves them and doesn't really want to stand against them if he can avoid it. but he's also still very much loyal to heaven and has faith in the original plan of it all and he's just trying to hold it all together, even though he's falling apart.
