There's something funny about Brendan and (Game verse)May dating, but not realizing they are. Everyone practically knows they're an item except themselves, their pokemon know they're dating. Yet for some ungodly reason, the two actively deny the idea that they're a couple on the rare occasion that it comes up.

It has that cheesy early 2000s TeenNick vibe of the two friends that clearly being set up as the main couple, but plot dictates that they delay the confession for as long as humanly possible out of fear that it would "ruin the friendship". It's so dumb and goofy. THEY'RE dumb and goofy
