One of my favourite things about May was that she had this incredible duality of cute kitty cat meow meow to extremely serious masterminding to just straight-up serving cunt. Flashback lawyer slay ruthless easily irritated overprotective and sassy. To this very emotional, tender but still calculating May we see in the present. May who finds joy in the mundane and the arts and other people. She was such a layered character and despite all the shit she did I could emphasize with and root for her so much, she really deserved that spot of one of my favourite love interests of 2024.

I'm also really, really excited for Bambi in Girl Rules because Film is going to slay so fucking hard as a messy playgirl obsessed with her ex

okay, let’s see if i have this right:

ob-oom:

-made may feel unloved/presumably insecure

-did not cuddle with may or sleep in the same bed as her

-didn’t like going to planetariums with her / possibly other places so may went alone

-their intimacy levels were nonexistent presumably

-did not tell may ANYTHING

-never mentioned her family or friends or introduced them to her

-cheated on her

-fought with may, later may becomes blind and then:

-left may bc she became blind(?)

-literally told her twin sister ai-oon to break up with may on her wedding day
