Review of Pluto ep 11 :
Heart-wrenching, made me feel sick, experienced physical pain, cried without tears, lost a piece of my soul, worst moment of my life
10 out of 10, would definitely recomend
I'm sorry, girls but this is NOT the way to clear up a confusion 😅😅😅
before i go into the tag and see all the takes i just want to announce that oom is my poor little meow meow. i said that i support problematic miserable women and i didn't lie
Still obsessed with Pluto in this new year, and I'm still thinking about Ep 11.
IMO the cruelest part is that by the end of Ep 10 I was lured into thinking we got our happy ending for Oonmay. Everything was out in the open and everyone had confessed what they need to. Meanwhile I'd forgotten about Oom. How the drama was still lurking just off screen (literally).
When Ep 11 started I was like ok great, everything should strengthen Oonmay! Then we were reintroduced to Oom and shown her side of things. Even though May's retelling of the situation you could not help but, feel Oom's pain of what was lost before the accident. As each flashback is shown I felt the happy ending unraveling.
By the time we get to the Choice™ it just feels like no one is gonna be happy. That is despite knowing that there was an entire episode left. I was screaming at my TV "what do you mean there's not gonna be a happy ending!"
Here is the cruel part, the subtlety with which the mystery of the accident was weaved into the story (it was brilliant!). The accident was one of the only things that made me think of Oom. Ep 11 showed that in order for the audience to solve that mystery we had to know the real Oom. Not the perception presented by Ai-oon or, the presentation that Oom put on for others.
Because that mystery was solved it revealed this last problem that the show was built on. One that had been pushed aside.
What happens when two sisters fall for the same woman?
Most of the GLs that I've watched have had rushed endings. However, with the way this show has been written, I trust Pluto whole heartedly!
To Pluto and Beyond 🚀💫
The theme of Pluto should be forgiveness. There's so much of it going on and being asked for, regardless of who is actually "deserving" or not. All the characters feel like they've been wronged by others and it seems like we're working towards forgiveness being given all around if this is going to be wrapped up neatly in the next episode. I expect the main point of contention will be whether Oom can forgive Ai/May.
And in the B-plot, I want Pang and Pim to forgive each other too. I don't know how they get out of this hot mess (with Jan), but at least they are being honest with each other. I just want them to be happy.
aioon's bra strap falling off her shoulder while she's making out with may in ep 11 is so important to me
